XFlow Sump Seal.

You can remove the crank pulley with the engine in, you just have to take the radiator out.

Going off experience your probably going to find a little groove worn into the pulley right where the seal sits on it which cause's the leak, to fix that you use an under size seal or have the groove filled with weld and machined down.

The sump can be dropped with the motor in place but it can be a prick of a job!

If you don't have the tin plate between the engine and box I would recommend bracing the engine and dropping the cross member.

Far easier just to pull the engine out though.

Remove engine?

My answer wasnt a real answer. it was supposed to confuse you because the question wasn't detailed enough to answer (IMO)

It depends on motor/car to decide if it needs to come out or not...

A Speedysleeve would be cheaper than a weld/machine job/probably
