Will 7inch wheels fit under standard mk1 escort guards or will they need to be rolled? Also while I'm here, how much do you guys reckon I could sell these wheels for? The performance superllites i have got really bad guard rub with the tyres to used to have and the ride height, but then i just roled the lip over basicly and ran the smaller tyres. If your car is not lowered you will have no worries. You will not be able to roll backseat passengers with 7's unless ya roll a skiny low pro like low'n'slow and if you do that it will look really funny at your ride height. rs2000escort Posted March 10, 2009 Share Posted March 10, 2009 re- guard rolling no it want make the guards look any bigger unless you got them flared, it can be done with out cracking the paint if you use a heat gun and a guard roller or metal bar, if your in Auckland i have a guard roller and do it on weekends, I'm doing my girlfriends this weekend or next i can let you know how it goes if you like. cheers David. The prob area with the rear of an escort is not the lip however but the part of the gaurd where the inner joins the outter and it slopes inwards/upwards.
