I met a datsun bloke from syndey when he came out for a holiday, and he said they have night drags twice a week. I was crying into my beer about how we only get 12 meeting a year in CHCH. (Weather permitting ) But then I was yarning to a bloke from Nelson when I was racing at the southern nationals earlier this year, and he said they only get 4 meets a year! kyteler Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 I think it was a problem with VHT and the main straight causing an issue with the SSCC, wasn't the safest. So now there's only 1/8 Mile sprints every so often down Otepuni Ave instead of quarters at Teretonga. It is a shame, but it's no surprise. Pretty sure you can slap videos up too, but maybe not. Up to you though. If you do want to, just let me know. At the moment, I'm not doing anything to the datto, and only working on the val. (More or less) It's going to be a while before I can fix the datto, (Due to being poor) and the Val really only needs time. I'm hoping to get my father in law to start the upholstery repairs this weekend. That outta spark my enthusiasm. Although datto's a heaps easier to work on. I have to remove the brake line that runs accross the firewall to get it replated. It was a mission! Lots of bad words were used in it's removal.
