Guest DXTACY Posted September 15, 2007 Share Posted September 15, 2007 hey guys, just a question for all yas who have put elec fuel pumps and injected motors into ya cars, how did you wire the fuel pump did yas just wire it to the run position of the ingnition switch or another way? eke_zetec_RWD Posted September 15, 2007 Share Posted September 15, 2007 all ecus that i know of will have a fuel relay triger wire, usually earths the relay and turns on pump when needed. usually pump will run for a few seconds when key is first turned on and the will run again as soon as engine is turning over. when engine stops so does pump. makes is safer if you crash etc. what ecu you using?
