peteretep
yeh im in the same boat except have 215s all round and will have 8in tridents on the back, panelbeater told me $150 a guard i thought it was a bit to much so asked a couple mates and one guys knows a dude that can do them for $40 $40 would only be for rolling the gaurds, I wouldnt be surprised if its actually $40 a corner = $160 all round I have 205's on 6 inch rims all round and lowered 2 inches, I thought it wasnt rubbing too bad but aparently not

Guest WESTCORT
my escort only rubs at the front of the front guards... got 205's all round on 7inch us800's. getting flared guards on the front is easy job but the rear is a real mish cause you have to mod the innergaurd aswell as the outer skin. where abouts do you hweels rub at the back? inside or outside of guard? oldrx7
basically theres no 'cheap' way of flaring your guards (unless you want it looking crap) its easy to lip or roll guards, its alot harder to flare them ... if your wanting it done properly, then you'll be looking at a bit of cash cos it involves proper panel beating (shaping and moulding) and painting = $$$ unless you find some bolt on flares or mexico style flares ... escortwags
i had 205's on my escort wagon with 14"S and i just rolled them myself it. came out sweet i just took an angle grinder to it rolled the lip that comes of the guard underneath which made a fuck load of difference then angle grinded inside the guard to stop it hitting the side of the arch up the top then rolled the guard with some hieniken bottles turned out mint..and my wags was on its bump stops and like magic no more rubbing
mk2_escort
when i got mine panalbeated i got the guards pumped heaps. they look like they are flared, but thats because they were done by a guy who knows whats hes doing- works at the best panalshop/paint shop in hawkes bay (literally) and they are absolutely perfect.
