32/36dgav twinchoke carb

4-1 extractors (or triY.. whatever ya want but 4-1 is more common) and a decent exhaust.. as muzz said ya want it as straight an unrestrictive as possible

get a good air filter.. im a k&n fan and most people here will advise against ramflo..

fastroad cam like a bcf2 is always nice and doesnt make it bad on the street

1100/1300 or forged pistons are always an option at getting more comp.

theyre the basics really..

get some pictures of your van up... geez theres a lot of us now with panelvan projects...

I'd say 1600GT head (biggest valves) port & polish to open up the airways. A decent fast road cam and a V6 Capri carb 40/40 DFA, extractors and a 2" exhaust.

My mate had this exact setup and his escort was a weapon off the line aye. Mind you.. with the 40/40 DFA it was reasonable thirsty but you can't have it both ways eh.

my sport will hopefully be finished asap.. but who knows

panelvan groundup... when i have money... its currently completely stripped roller.. awaiting heavy body work, paint, my sports engine and then playaround..

my new panelvan.. well when everything else is done it might get done up a little.. but for now shes a good runner

cheapest way? on the real?

A: go to the wreckers, $100 for pinto and youre away. you asked for the cheapest...

well depending on your idea of quick, as far as im concerned cheap does not equate quick. ever. Depends on your idea of "cheap" too. whats the budget?

all the above mods but use a single 40/40 sidedraught easier to tune and not as hungry as 2. if you want power you need to build the engine from scratch with all the parts matched for the particular purpose youve got in mind. my engine builder has a little quote he uses all the time its 'if the head dont flow the motor wont go' quite good i reckon
