  1. I'm transferring my n600 to mates place next week, might have a better idea if theres a spare 600cc motor to throw in your mix. Another option would be to see if you could fit the motor from Honda shitty turbo? Or 3 cyl dihatsu turbo etc. Something you could buy a rusty shell on and put everything over
  2. @Figgy Did you manage to flick your Civic? Or have any other sources? There's probably a couple floating around if you join that NZ Honda Civic AT/AS/ etc page
  3. Build 3 - copy the spoon N360. Use a BMW motorbike head http://www.speedhunters.com/2009/06/gallery_gt_gt_spoon_honda_n360_packaging/
  4. He's a mod on Classic Honda of Australia fb page pretty sure, been wanting to make a Classic Honda of NZ page, but the nz honda av/as/at/aa group is pretty good in the mean time.
  5. Can confirm n360's we're pretty much copied from Minis and wheel flares from minis are direct bolt on And you should most definitely get modgies for this beast, because why would you not? Trademe link And if my friend does his EV swap with my spare N600, there's an N600 motor waiting as well as I have some oversized pistons, however there's a guy in Western Aus who rebuilt his N600 using higher compression EB civic pistons for more dorts. Then get a motorbike Fuel Injection conversion kit and tune this bitch (Y)
  6. Engine swap 2 - Insight gearbox with battery pack and rear mounted E07a in the back from a Honda Beat. Can dig out more build information about this. You might be able to squeeze and EO7z turbo into the front from a Honda Life, 660cc and like 50 odd hp, but tsu tsu tsu tsu.
  7. Engine swap 1 - shitty video (And complete abortion of a car), would be a bit of work, but the Jazz motor is probably one of the easiest and most powerful upgrades (Look up L15b motor....)
  8. I got several pipe dreams of things that can fit in these. Have done much research and cried every time at my bank balance and not being able to do the swap using a hammer and screwdriver. I have a few spare parts etc too, lets meet up and make this matchbox car great again.
  9. I think my friend in lower hutt might be able to help if you get in a pickle, PM me
  10. Friend has been trying to find a white walling company for yonks (A reasonably priced one) and here you show up just casually. Reckon you'd be able to sort him out? He's got a Crown with hundred spoke Daytons if that helps you with the convincing part
  11. Yes did smell, but it's it's like any strong acid, just has a familiar chemically aroma. Tergo phos I got from a place called Target Cleaning supplies in Auckland. Not 100% happy it doesnt have the concentration on the label, but it makes fizzing pretty quick so assume it's of suitable mol. If i were to do it next time I'd probably investigate a less harsh solution and use time, i.e citric acid or coke etc. It's nice being fast but a hassle to have to wear all the protection as it's pretty nasty.
  12. I got some TergoPhos the other week, finally tested it. It's like rust removal on meth, it's pretty effective.
  13. I can only reply with a video when I saw your post https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pkshjbn8GKc
  14. You can buy stair runners from Mitre 10 etc, I literally put a set of stairs up in about 15 mins. More than happy to help you get a sharp price if you need it
  15. They're just studs. Shank nuts are fine. Main thing is the hub ring must be correct size
  16. More interested in the whole lubed chain flinging grease places or if there's requirements to have driveshafts secured in a particular way. Be silly for me to investigate something that can't be compliant regardless. I'm also not keen to spend several thousand on a quaife conversion box that some mini guys use. Should pay to say I've got a method someone else has used which seems fine, I just want to compare it to what the score sheet the cert guys might use to mark it effectively
  17. Where can I find out information about the legalities of fabricating a chain driven driveline for a car? Investigating if it's even worth the idea of putting a motorbike engine in a car
  18. I have a sweet double din one I might end up not using, the 2nd din can be detached and has sweet tuning knobs for maximum crackle enhancement.
  19. With beer you can achieve anything you want to. I believe in you.
  20. Should put that plastic thermal film that people put on their house windows, might be able to gain a little more insulation effect?
