I now has car. Got told it would come with rear shocks, which it didnt, which made getting it off the transporter very interesting. Now to start buying stuff. Anyone have Z20/A70 rear shocks and springs i could buy?

So i had a brain fart and bought this thing. Dont have it yet as its getting picked up from Rotorua on a transporter, but was bored so am putting a thread up now. Its just a rolling body, but was factory 7mgte. Need a few things other than the motor and box, such as a grill and diff, plus some interior bits as well. Haven't fully decided on what motor im going to run, put am leaning towards a 1jzge, or 2jzge. As for the looks department, this is sort of what im going for. Yeeee. If any one knows of any spares, id probably be interested.

Got my clutch and box on in the weekend. Just running a 5 puk exedy. Gearbox crossmember didnt line up but might need a bit of pulling, or its the wrong one. Anyone got a te71 crossmember lying around? No pics but heres one of the headers i have for it.

Nah doesn't crank/do anything. Relay just has a spaz then stops. Haven't checked voltage, didn't have a multimeter

So yesterday I went to go out in my carina. Turned it on, let it glow as usual, then went to start it and got nothing but a whole lot of noise from the relay. Took it apart, gave the contacts a clean and tried again. The relay is switching really quickly, then slows down and stops like all together. The inside of the relay looks OK, doesn't smell like it's burnt out, but haven't checked it yet. Would it be the relay? Or a short sone where else? Proving to be very difficult to find a replacement

Seeing as everyone else is updating there Ke70 threads, then so shall i. Got my Riversides stripped, and gave them a paint up. Spray can for the win. Got a Ae86 backing plate and also chucked on my Toda fly wheel. Just need to put my clutch on then the box can go on as well. T series diff is in, floor needs to be cut, which will happen when i take the fuel tank out, hopefully this week/weekend Also mocked up my twin headlight front, probably wont paint it for now. So I have gone and bought another car, and don't really have the room for it at home. So, I'm on the look out for a storage she'd in the East tamaki/Mt wellington area that I can keep it in, and maybe also do some work on it. Any one here able to recommend somewhere to go? Haven't had a good look around yet and will be doing so today, but if anyone has a recommendation sing out.

Have been sort of productive with this of late. Stripped and painted the wheels, now just need to but cap screws and nuts and they will be going back together. Finally got it into the garage after having it out side the whole time I've owned it. Borrowed Sheepers engine crane (thanks heaps again) and chucked the 4age in. Was hoping to have the gearbox in as well but I'm still waiting on my clutch to arrive, which is taking forever. Ripped the standard diff out and cut off the bump stop mounts ready to put my t series in, but need the bolts that hold the axels in to assemble it. So this is how it sits now. Will be welding my radiator mounts in this weekend, and hopefully get the diff in if i can find these bolts. Discussion thread here: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?showtopic=33618
