Do you just have standard solid discs at the moment? I have put ae86 slotted rotors and callipers into my ke70 wagon, haven't driven it yet but it will be a huge upgrade from standard an only set me back $250.

So finally got this thing rolling. No pics cause it looks like balls. Plans are to have it at Coromandell nats so have to get cracking. Should have my gearbox by the end of next month/start of october. Wheels are nearly here. Have a clutch pedal to chuck in. So ye, stuffs sort of happening.

Question regarding driveshaft hoops. In my z20, the standard engine was a 7mgte, so litre turbo. Im planning on putting in either a 2jzge or 1jzge, so non turbo. Would i be required to use driveshaft hoops for cert?

I wouldnt split them unless you were going to get new front lips made. High chance of ruining the front lip

Yea well i have quite big cams, ie 316 intake and 306 exh. Tis not a heavy car.

So my KE is pretty much ready to run. For those who dont know, im running a 16v 4age with silvertop ITBs. Seeing as the car is going to be a track car only, i was thinking of getting rid of the booster so i dont have to run a vacuum block and to make more room for a plenum for the ITBs in the future. Having never driven a car without a booster before, what is it like? From the research i have done it seems that just getting rid of the booster and putting in an adaptor plate isn't a good idea, but rather putting on a smaller master cylinder. Is there any truth in this? Or would i be ok in just removing the booster?
