So i can get some ln61 surf 4pots for cheap and just need to know if they will accept a 260mm to 280mm rotor and if they run a vented or solid rotor. also can someone recommend rear calipers that use an internal drum brake. Oh and piston sizes so master cylinder can be sorted accordingly.

Sierra t9 if you want highway cruising and more flexibility, fair amount of work though. Look at gaz's tech article on it. 4speed if you want classic/os feel. May want to look a changing your diff aswel. I'm guessing you got a 4.1 or 3.9?
In palmy aswell mate.
eke_zetec_RWD-Would i have more problems with a t9 instead of the type E? not in terms of fitting but reliability behind my pinto?

Yep Pinto mate dont know too much on the engine castings side of things.
From some of Gaz's posts it looks like planing the head isnt worth it as you dont get much increase compression wise. Pistons are probably your best bet for upping compression.
Otherwise your list sounds bang on man hopefully Gaz will intervene and give you the ins and outs of a pinto
Also what cam are you thinking of? A kelford grind? or a kent cams kit?
At Wharerata function centre and cafe in Massey, im a kitchen hand. sigh. And at tremain energy centre on Saturday mornings helping out in the workshop.
