  1. i see no one has mentioned parts shop max coil overs. They are super sweet, replacement springs and shock inserts are cheap and readily availble. There is a nz distributer also. http://www.poweredbymax.net/
  2. you would want body adjustable if i an correct? if you have platform adjustable when you wind it down or up you muck with all the rebound setting etc.
  3. inspiration for slam and numberplate relocation
  4. so decided i wanted music in this car so put a headunit in the glovebox to keep it nice and clean looking/new stuff is lame so but some holes and put it in there. the car came with this ugy hole where someone/old man before me had molested it so if anyone has that little pannel that goes in there it would be awesome! Also i think my diff mounts are stuffed as i think i can hear it moving around when i get on and back off the gas, its either that or extreme backlash! Also had a little dig at the "repair" on the sill (primer patch just below the driver door) and it seems to have been repaired with bog, i will leave the digging until i can suss out someone to fix it or i get gas for my welder. Next on the list is new front shocks and more slam with stiffer springs also maybe another 30mm or so lower all round and a nardi steering wheel. I am also thinking about doing a filler pannel where the number plate is at the moment and relocate the numberplate to unerneath the bumper, Thoughts? 8. ohhh if this happens i will need to bring my one down from palmy to go on some missions!
  9. factory brown not an option? or black dash? i love the factory high back seats in these with the embossed emblem on them. i just love brown. best.colour.ever
  10. damn! you do not much around haha, getting shit done so fast! Maybe loose a bit of the red on the interior haha, its a bit of an overload. (and maybe the modgies too)
  11. so this thing should have been finished roughly 2 years ago... Got home from wellington for semester break brought some exhaust tube and but it and tacked it together to resemble some sort of exhaust gas extraction pipe thingy and welded a flexi on there, bolted it all up and now now its ready for a muffler to be welded in so i can see how loud it will be.. Here is a super shitty iphone pic for you guys! I also brought some shocks for the front and then ran out of money/studentlyfe. So whats left? new/mod the back springs to a nice height tidy wiring find wide wheels bolt check cert fix a bunch of shit needed for cert sell and buy a house Talk here - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/33383-ke70-wagons-gx71/?hl=ke70_wagons
  12. edit, got some decent photos up after mucking aound so that shitty one can leave. These pics are Before guard rolling and just after i had "fixed" the suspension so it had to settle a bit after this and sits about 15-20mm lower looks alot nicer now. Still have to re-install the chrome and mudflaps. Will get new pics once the weather turns nice again. Mitch Edit Edit. fuck these pics got killed when put into Flickr, sorry boes.
  13. is all it needed for a wof 12" tires? if so that is so sweet!
  14. so i got some semi better pics of the car also pics of my wheels painted and with new tires on. On the 7's i got 175/65 and on the 7.5's i got 185/60 these should be a good size for daily duties as i drive at 100k's alot. Please disregard the huge fuckoff intercooler on the gx71. and then put the wheels on the car, i really didn't want to put them on until it was lowered but 1 of the tires was starting to crack around the entire sidewall so i wasn't too keen on that. Im b4 Mexican. Its going to get slammed about 95mmish so it sits between 90-100mm Mean. Discuss: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/44150-mitchs-1982-910-bluebird/

  18. ahhh shart, going up the mountain for some snowboarding... Should be there around 7ish
  19. so this thing has been tucked away in the shed for 2 years after i finished school/got sick of people breaking it while i was trying to build it. the engine needed more room to go back so i chopped the back off and bent it backwards, Boom perfect fit! Cut some slots out for the chain sand exhaust. got the front end tacked just need to weld some gussets on, you can see the brackets for the stubs in the pics, plenty of camber and caster dialled in! old tonykart steering wheel in place, need to extend the shaft so people with longer legs can ride it. Dunno if i have put a pic up of this but i have bent the lil bit where babys sit, re-enforced it with some steel bar and now its a sweet seat! trying to keep it as trolley looking as possible. Going to make a flase floor to cover the tierods so no one gets their feet stuck in there. then can mount up the accelerator and brake pedals then its prettty much good to go!
  20. yo you got it! how is it for parts etc? look tidy? Edit: Mr Berjj, you know this car is old? haha.
