  1. Welded in brace with all the middle cut out of it. Worth the effort.
  2. Hanmer meet 2028 here we come!
  3. I predict that it will be like new lowered cars were in the past. very few people will be bothered arguing with heroic ranger guy, they will pass it and put it out side,
  4. Hey, sorry it took me a while to chime in here, this looks wild! Anyway, could you fit some good BMX forks to your frame to beef the front up and alter the trail a little? Otherwise what if you made a new frame, taking design cues off this frame but with a bigger size, made of heavier tube, with better wheels, and brakes. Maybe C90, or KX80 or something along those lines?
  5. I made a faux sawn off shotgun for a friends Krav Maga class this weekend. It's a piece of framing timber and some electrical conduit, I'm pleased with how it turned out.
  6. Hope it's not an 80s NZ Bmx to be cut up.
  7. Colin Furze would be truly proud! Where did you get the motor from? how much was it?
  8. You know who likes tall bikes? Tom likes tall bikes, that's who. Better build the wee scallywag one then. I'll get some more tube this week and try to have it rolling for next weekend.
  9. I'd love to see some attachments, such as. -Log saw. -Wood splitter. -Post driver.
  10. Yes! What are your plans for the Tractor Nathan? Do you have a specific purpose in mind of is it for general tractor hi-jinx?
  11. Rotary hoe your lawn up in spring and re lay it. Your roller will be ideal for firming the top up once you,ve raked the seed in. As said earlier a pallet with some weight on it dragged behind the ride on blends everything in nicely, I have just the thing for more serious leveling if need be. When it grows back it will be lush as any lawn you've ever seen.
  12. yes you're right I didn't buy treated ply, I have been thinking about getting some paint from the tip or some such. Problem is I don't want everything on the property "Painted" Good idea thanks Chas, my boys are pretty good at drawing dicks on things as it is without any encouragement/tutoring.
  13. I have a couple of days off work to finish some things. I got stuck into the joins on this with an electric plane to make the transition from flat to ramp nice and smooth. It all went together nicely from there. Project finished! Now to teach the kids to ride properly, try and teach them to leave the lame scooter kid ways behind.
  14. That's a few steps above my skills/budget. looks like an awesome job.
  15. It's my aim, scooters are humiliating. the younger one has shown an interest in skateboards I'll get him one asap. I'm tempted to get one myself/broken hip.
  16. It's going to be two layers to start with, if it's a problem I'll add an extra later over the top. I just didn't get as much done today as would have liked. Thanks for the tip.
  17. During the week I purchased 8 sheets of 7mm downgrade plywood for the curved sections. The flat was bits of 12mm I'd scrounged previously. Progress from this weekend. Looking good. Kids are excited.
  18. I've been making my kids a small half pipe over the last couple of weekends. So far it's all timber I have scrounged up from around work etc, at this stage outlay is nothing more than some nail gun nails I already had. This afternoon it started to look like more than a pile of firewood.
  19. "Muffy". . . Good to know.
  20. Just bite the bullet and take it somewhere else.
  21. I've got one you gave me years ago. Do you want it back?
