  11. The soldered seams make that not posable By the sounds of it you wouldn't get much else other than the patched piece of steel back if you tried that. Pop rivet soldered seams and tank seal the crap out of it again

  13. I know you said you're over tank sealer but tank seal over the new steel, also oxy weld the patch dont mig it.

The high end figure would be 150hp for a worked 1600 with cam, high comp over sized pistons, flowed head, oversized valves and side drafts but it depends how much you want to spend and how long you want the engine to last, also sometimes its best to go for flow over peak HP as you dont spend much time at max revs.
