Has a location been confirmed? -
The one thing that kills me every time I look at my car...is the front suspension. I have some spare struts to cut up and make adjustable. Good things take time aye?

Damien's 83 Mitsubishi Sigma Wagon
OSM Garage replied to OSM Garage's topic in Projects and Build Ups
So...Ive ditched the idea of trying to run the twin carbs. Fuel talked some sense into me. I managed to score a GSR Sapporo instrument cluster a while back. Thanks to Damian for sourcing it for me. Ive had it in the Sigma for a bit and have never connect the oil pressure and amp meter gauges. So, over the holidays I tried my best to sort this out. I managed to get the amp gauge going sweet but the oil pressure gauge is crap. I brought a sender off a guy on trademe which he said came off a G63B engine. Sadly, it doesnt work. Me mucking around with ride height I had a set of Sigma steel centre caps on my trademe watchlist for almost a year. the guy first listed them for $80! I knew they wernt gonna sell for that amount so kept saving them to my watchlist waiting for him to lower the price. It took a bloody long time but managed to score them for $21. A big thanks to Daniel (DJZ) for pick'n them up and sending them up to Auckland. Got them today. Old caps. New caps So now I can ceremoniously DESTROY this cap I like the look of these centre caps. Makes it look complete. Looks like Macabre's steelies. -

I just won an auction and was wondering if you fine Northland gentlemen were able to help out. I am just finding out where exactly in Northland they are. I will update as soon as I find out. Yours faithfully

Man, Chris really did pimp yo ride. Monitors on the roof? Hatervision! Looks good my friend. Real good! Do these things look any good without a rear bumper? Do they have a less protruding rear bumper?

Im trying to get my oil pressure gauge working in my sigma and seem to be having troubles. I have fitted a cluster from a Mitsubishi Sapporo which has a factory oil pressure gauge. I recently purchased this to operate the gauge - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =435368217 Ive connected the one single wire from the sender to the cluster. When I turn the key to "ON" the gauge rises to the stopper. With the engine running the gauge stays at max. Is the sender unit faulty or is there a chance that I could have screwed things up? Chur

Im after the speedo from the starion if your not using it. Im really JUST after the speedo and nothing else but the instrument cluster is no use to anyone without the speedo. PM me if you dont need it and how much you'd part with it for.

Has your wagon got a panhard rod? Powersteering SHOULD be easy. You'll need the obvious things (Pump, lines and box) but you'll need to also change the steering column. Im eventually going to do the swap to my wagon. CBF at this stage. You selling parts from the Starion?

So simple it hurts! Immobiliser now works. Cheers Phil. The alarm states that the immobiliser function is rated to 20A peak. I am immobilising the coil. Will the alarm handle this?
-
Calling all alarm installers Im installing an alarm in a mates car but cant seem to get the immobiliser function to work. This is the alarm in question - http://www.mongoose.co.nz/media/256225/ ... sturbo.pdf There are 2 wires for each immobiliser (dual immobiliser) I asked my ol man (my technical/mechanical magician) and he said to run a 30A relay. Unfortunately this does not make the immobiliser work. Infact the car no longer starts. My question is do these alarms have relays in them? Can I just hook up the immobiliser wires direct to the component to be immobilised? (See pic) Let me know if you need more info Chur

Yep, driveshaft is the issue. Had this in my VP Commodore after I lowered it. Vibration was wicked. Had the driveshaft fully rebuilt by a crowd in East Tamaki. Cost me $700. The hanger bearing may be to blame. I switched my driveshaft for a 1 piece but not because it was vibrating. More because I hate 2 piece shafts.

Shit yeah! I always thought the Pajero's came out with the grunty 12 bolt diff like the 4WD L200's. Will be trolling thru pick a part next time im there!
