  1. 4-5 inch notch sort of style Side plates and top cap were welded onto original chassis then the old chassis cut out and new cross member added to clear the diff once low is added. Photo of my notch which Im not worried about certing as not going to be road legal but the guy that did I was looking to do a couple for road legal utes and wanted to know if he was on the right track
  2. Whats the go with a C Notch on a ute Clint. Does it need to be done by a ticketed welder? Anything that needs to be done a certain way to keep a cert man happy
  3. Will new Hart owners not let you use workshoppe for personal use? /buy my house, its cheap and Kawerau is like a flash Waimana
  4. New Bosch 1 wire o2 sensors can be had on trademe for $126 which is well worth it IMO, will make fuel economy much better
  5. Yeah all 1 wire oxy sensors will read the same value. A 2nd hand one will probably not fix the problem as they wear out and read the wrong value which pulls a fault code. Brand new is the best way to go
  6. Engine bay is so clean! Banjo bolts off the brake master cylinder is a nice touch
  7. That'd be massive! My engine never came with it but its got the main power feeds to the ecu and stitches into the body loom so need about a 30cm tail of wire with it and if you could grab the loom for the AFM and 02 sensor too you would be the ultimate man! My engine is out of a GA61 but any of the early round plug 1GGE engines should have the same 24p plug
  8. If you go back to get some parts from Foxton id be keen on the 24p plug on the ECU and the part loom that has the AFM and o2 sensor from one of the early 1GGE vehicles with round plugs. Happy to pay what they want for it plus your time
  9. And now it looks like this. Cant complain since it only cost me a box of waikats I helped to drink a feed of Kfry for lunch and a Redbull
  10. Which you wont hear over the rumble of the LS
  11. You are one observant Hunter Cat Thompson
  12. Those 3T-GTE will make good power with some mods, plus its pretty period correct for the corona
  13. $30? Il pull them outa the shed and get a pic or 3 They are this style
  14. Knob is the shit haha Iv got a pair of Michelin floor mats in black that I have no use for
  15. Buy this //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/39656-fs-3tgte-w58-akl/
  16. Dont think il be able to make an appearance tonight but I will try
  17. Aquired a couple of things to make this build progress a bit easier now. Boring new school daily to relieve the ute of it duty. Crown midsump and pickup cheers to Frosty which should clear the crossmember with minimal or no notching required Pretty much means I can start fitting the 1G good and proper now and get it running to make sure its a half decent motor, it should be a sweet runner, it has good compression and turns over nicely. If its running sweet then I look at doing a C notch and some other suspension mods to obtain slam http://www.oldschool... ... greatness
  18. I fixed up a few of the photos for ya
  19. Awesome cheers. Looking through your build thread it looks like 2 square plugs are there so its not a water one then. Maybe its for air intake temp? Finding a parts number on the probe will be the best bet, might need to give it a light sand to make it show up under all the grime and blackness
  20. and while we are on the subject of 1GGEU engines could you take some photos of the 24p plug on the ecu showing what colour wires go where for me?
