  1. Water shouldn't affect your WOF / cert thankfully
  2. Yeah I know of a guy.... just trying to remember his name. His card is on the board at the McLean Motors WOF place... This guy will know him, @4AG_Addict, your bro still in the game?
  3. Wat, black is all good. Nice work doing all the panel work yourself.

    PAINT THREAD

Whats the current surface, can get brush on underseal of cheap as fuck.
  5. Might not be able to see his wall.
  6. Now I know who I blocked in lol, I couldn't remember. Good meat all round.
  7. I don't have any either (no space), will be attending. Peg @ 12, I best get some fuel, haven't filled up since before Nats.
  8. It's a joke, wouldn't expect someone as old as you to get it.
  9. They haven't adopted the popular seven day week yet. Probably still running imperial too.
  10. Don't need big, just multiple.
  11. There should be some award for registering a new company to get a WOF.
  12. If they won't accept Toyota brochures, i'd go with asking for money back. I imagine they can ask for what they are. But if you can't get a dyno done (my initial idea was just photoshop one, but they'll keep a copy no doubt), demanding money back due to them ignoring manufacturer supplied information is BS.
  13. Still cheaper to go elsewhere for a WOF, if you're confident that EFI doesn't need a cert. Just have all the paperwork handy if they question it. Should know better than to support VTNZ lol.
  14. Rivnut perhaps? Might just need to sealant it up due to location.
  15. Just P clip everything (at smaller distances than required) before cert? Cable ties don't sound all that suitable really, even if Toyota used plastic clips originally. Should be easy enough to bolt on p clips to original mounting brackets. Do it once, do it right. my2c
  16. What product are you using to treat the rust on some of those patches? Might be my monitor, but the areas still look to be quite rusty, including the "new" metal you're replacing rust with? This is the main one, just looks like you're welding to rust along the top edge? I'd be chopping it back till there was no deep pitting with rust, just my2c though.
  17. Someone on that side of town needs to just get er done.
  18. I get the feeling your boss knew what would happen all along Along the same lines of filling a room with 100% LPG, and trying to light a match, not going to happen. Get the mix in the room right though, and the room is no longer.
  19. All good. Just figured the oil would act as a coolant for the welding, a couple of few second tacks isn't going to boil a sump of oil. But yeah, I haven't done it myself, ignore that idea.
  20. Would end up pretty small. Needs a nut welding on the top at one million degrees IMO. Heating and shrinking might help it along. I had pipe wrench on it, gripped it fine, but the force I was putting on it without it budging was a bit concerning. Laying under car, feet against wheel while trying to crack it open, no luck.
  21. I've never tried it on a sump bolt, and not my car, might have to see what @Threeonthetree thinks.
  22. Sump bolt condition isn't the worst i've seen, but it's nugga nugga tight. I was concerned with shearing it off, some heat might help break it loose. 6 point would require bashing on for sure though.
