I ran 195/45/15's on my 15x8/15x9 Arrow rims on my gx71,looked mint on the 9's but the 8's were a bit square/meh Just sorting out some 185/55/14's to run on 14x8/14x9 for crown now also,unky Tank had the same wheel/tyre set up on his van and looked realy tuff

Nar i bought them off trademe a few months back as they are, there ether 2 or 2,1/2 inchs wider im not to sure. Theres a few places in this thred that widen rims if it helps viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17931

Cheers guys shes getting there slowly.I have a few other idears for the colour of the wheels but so far Im quite keen on the metallic charcoal ones,they came out very matt to which is always a bonus

Cheers bro,prity much yea I just wanted to try and make it look as standard as posible and also try and keep it quiet,i had thought about running a dumy pee shooter out back and having a dump pipe underneath the car some were but since i was makeing it all i thought i mite try some thing a little different

So I think its about time i updated this I made some mufflers and finished the exhaust I had to cut part of the compressor housing off so there was enuf room for the piping to the intercooler and then ground it out to the same size as the piping I got some black silicon joiners for the intercooler piping but it was a bit shiney for me so i gave it a qwik scotch before i cut them to fit Finished the piping but wasnt happy so have changed the cold side since these pics,its all away getting welded up now along with the intercooler end tanks and a few other bits also Finaly finised the sump,I just need to check it for leaks and give it a coat of paint I also picked up some more wheels and tyres,i dont think there going to do much for the handling/traction side of things but they should be a bit of fun I just need to figer out what colour to do them now. The wethers been a bit stink as of late so I havnt had a chance to do much more work on it but hopefully it should be moveing out to the new shed soon so then il have no excuse.

I know a few guys that have been running them draw thrugh set ups on minis with SU carbs for the past few years and as far as i know they have never had any problims

i did some work on one of his mini's the other day and asked if he could do some work on the mazda but he's just to bizy, maybe if i ask Jordan nicely he could do it for me? haha yea maybe i should stop been lazy and do it myself, if tank can do it and not blow anything up ild say any one can

i was useing GIBBS mega penetrant on my ute which is in bare metal but since it live's outside it would still rust in patches were it had rubed off ect,im now useing the super cheep Australian Export brand clear coat which has worked mint (so far) it also wash's off easy as with thinners so when im finnished ill clean it all off and do a freash coat.

good man, we should also both roll hotwires as we both know they are mankinds greatest achievement mite have to find me some hotwires so i can keep up with the Jones's/probly not haha i got some widened rx4 rims the other day i just need to find ether some 165/55 or 175/50/13's to chuck on them

yea bro,im a bit woryed its just guna go round in circles but once im used to it will have to go upto drags/down to track day and test them out. what injecters/fuel reg ect are you useing? are your injectors side feed/top feed or both?

still tinkering away on this,kinda wish i could just wake up in the morning and some one's done it all for me but hey dreams are free. waiting on silicon joiners so i can finish the intercooler piping cut a wee hole so she can get a bit more cold air sumps prity much done,just gota sort out a dip stick bild a sump gaurd and find a bit more clearince between it and the steering at the back exhaust is done upto the rear seat and im going to atempt to make my own mufflers,one for under the rear seat and one a little some thing like this for out the back cardbord and pvc's probly not realy upto the task so once im happy with them il make them out of stainles.

i was thinking a more mild jap theme as i still want to be able to change back to os/wog/euro theme so not to keen on drilling holes for flairs,cutting gaurds ect. i know what you mean about those ssr mk1's i like them but i just dont think that they would work

so what dose every one think about a jap theme for the capella next,some thing like this? (-rear wing and rake) ive been watching these for a bit but im not sure if they would work

pinched a tig welder from a frend of my dads the other day and used it to burn up the exhaust maifold over the weekend,wastegates not realy were i want it to be but i need to plum it back in for cert so dont realy have much choice. also started bilding the turbo dump pipe over the weekend and i will try and see if i can get the dump from the wastegate plumed into it with the help of a few more v-bands tomoro if i dont fall asleep when i get home

churrr,finished tacking up manifold tonight,now i just gota figer out were im guna put that wastegate

got a bit more done this week,have been a bit lazy though.mounted radiator further back and higher up to make room for the intercooler and also so the oil cooler dosnt hang down so low.got some steel folded up for my sump and started cutting it to make it fit but got borred so thought ild mount the turbo.manifold is now mostly done and tacked up just need to finish off the front runner and find some were to plum the wastegate in that is all.
