thanx guys it was a prity sweet trip across aus, only problim we had was the needle falling off the speedo but we couldnt do the speed limit any way so that wasnt to bad. it was a bit of a mission to get it complyed, had to get all new brakes disks drums pads shoes slave cylinders, there was a small amount of rust on the left A piller behind the gaurd and around the front and rear screans so had to get a repear cert for that which was an extra $360, plus the front screan cracked when i had that pulled out so that was another $400 for a new one. it had non stock front seats in it so i found sum 808 seats and stretched them slightly to fit, high stop light, make rear springs captive, new rear seat belts a few exhaust leaks and thats about it i think. i live around chedworth so yea that would be me. exterior is staying the same, maybe a repaint one day but for now ive got more important things to wory about,iv been offered a crashed batty for a very good prise have got a few interior pics but its not that prity, partly due to a slite accident i had with sum fire works i picked up off a guy in alice springs. made the trip down a wee bit more exciting but the intrerior and our hearing suffered a bit.

Rolled around in it for a year or so in Alice Springs then when i moved back 2 months ago i got it sent over on a boat. Heres some pics of the trip home and of the car! Me, Tank {macabre} and Jordan {nanarei} at the start of a 3500k trip to the docks to drop it off Car on a roadside stop by Ayres Rock Valet parking at Crown Plaza in Melbourne {thanks to Jordan} And the end of our trip! made it with ease So its back in Nz and i have had it complied after a 500 dollar fine i got on the first couple of days back here for driving with dodgy plates! Plans are to make it fast and make it Low while keeping it reasonably original on outside.

i put a visor on my capella, i think its got the same kind of trim around the windows as your 808 i just made the brackets so that they would go around the trim and then screw into the a-piller.

also keen to see wot they can do. werabouts in hamiltion are they?

So I re-glued exhausts this arvo and well I was under there noticed this nice big hole under the drivers seat It looks like that man hole cover did a bit of damage on its way through and theres two spots were you can put your hand through and push the carpet up, I have been meaning to weld sum plates along chassis rails so will fix this at the same time i guess.

I glued exhaust back up last weekend,it was mint didn't leak at all, then i kinda hit this man hole cover witch smashed and wedged itself under my car and now i think its cracked the manifold sounds rangy as. Got me a nice big chunk of manhole cover to hang on the wall tho Wiring loom for link arrived last week and also sused a turbo, its a holset off a cummins 5-6.5 litre truck, had it checked out and was told it mite be a bit slow to spool up but should be sweet

lol um well ther was this realy big chicken... yea not realy used to rwd yet, pulling out of a t turning right clutched it, sideways as snapt 2nd and then it griped and spun back round the other way and went up the curb, i mised the trees and the fence tho im shor tank will have pics up soon so evry one can see my handy work

yea im not to shor how he managed it but it was prity funny am planing on getting it down to track day, just waiting on flywheel belhousing loom for the link turbo wastegate bov fuel pump and um..... well heeps of other stuf. im looking for sum 4 inch alloy bends to finish the plenum also so if any one noes of were to get any please let me no thinking maybe il trayler it down to toupo this time

haha chears boes got a 1jzgte with stainles single turbo manifold, not shor wot turbo im guna run yet tho, also got a 700x300x100 intercooler, link v4 and am bilding a new inlet plenum with help from my work mate rob, thanx rob the rims, i got a qwote from arrow wheels and they wer going to be $3260 i think that was plus gst aswell. about a week later tank rang me and sed they had these funny looking 3 peace rims for sale at top town. i got them for $300, pulled them apart and got the iners polished ($200) etched and painted the centers (about $20 i think?) and then sealed them back up with sikaflex adhesive sealant stuff ($26) then the tyres wer $340 and wheel nuts wer $50, thanks heeps to tank for finding them and helping me fit the tyres havent measured ride hight yet but my dad sumhow managed to get an extention cord stuck under it a few weeks back

hahaha thats me yea not 2 good with these computer thingys. Um so far have fitted gt4 front shocks in the front struts witch i shortened 65mm i think??? oh and cut one coil off as well. Rear has 3 coils off with shorter shocks and bump stops taken out. The rims are Arrow wheels 3 peace 15x8 and 15x9 with the centers flipt and the iner rim section polished. I got some 195/45/15s on them. I have flared the guards with sum 4inch steam pipe but still had to cut 9mm off the back of the rims to get them and the tyres to clear. It is off the road at the moment as the exhaust fell off as me and tank were driving on the weekend Il get sum pics of the new engine/turbo setup some time soon and have a go at putting them up.
