  1. Dumpy looks ok tucked up like that, but I don't think it suits the rest of the cars look, which is amazing. So slammed.
  2. What a lol choice of car. Look forward to seeing you work your magic!
  3. Passed this when in dunners you were heading up the tiny road towards mercy hospital. Looked sweet yo.
  4. That was hard to read man but pleased to hear the damage is not major. I admire your attitude and hope to see this bad boy finished. Mostly just because you deserve to get to drive this fucking car in anger
  5. FWIW was just quoted $350 to have bonnet completely re-done (due to stone chips) along with some touchups around the windows, rear bumper etc from a panel beater. Car is going to look sweet once it's done, just a shame we have to sell it (missues can't drive due to surgery). These are queenstown prices. I doubt it will cost you more than $250 to get a good job done by a friendly panel beater. DO EET.
  6. Tyres on coupe are choice. New seats look swish.
  7. Holy shit STAGE 1 MODS. How badly does this thing handle? Looks awesome fun.
  8. ^word. Sweet ride. They do go well for a french thing.
  9. So weak point of the injection gear was the fuel pump right? I'm guessing there is modern solution to that issue?
  10. ^Chur. Will check with mate who works at Fiat dealer re CV's etc. Fucking miss driving this car tbh.
  11. Cleaned it for the first time in a couple years. Found a little rust on the left door under the sill. Mate is heading over to S.A end of the year so he's going to price up some parts as they are plentiful over there as they kept producing them until... 1998? Or something. New stuff list so far: Badges Various interior trim bits, electric window switch surrounds etc, new matts? Maybe new carpet if I'm lucky. New OEM shocks (have decided to keep this car as stock as possible) Price a new turbo, clutch kit, master and slave cylinders Wondering what else I should try and get my hands on? Shipping is going to be the worst bit so figure I'll try and get it all sent in one lot. There's nothing it really needs mechanically that I know of, but wondering how hard things like CV's etc are going to be to get hold of in future. Got a new engine gasket set off trademe for $29, score. Again, just building spare for a rainy day at this stage. Here's a random pic, not mine.
  12. Eh what's a few more days waiting for this part. Pretty sure everything that could have broken has now? It's going to be so sorted when you get it back together this time. Then once it's done get a house. It's nice to be able to look in your own garage at your own car. Especially when it's a car like this.
  13. Bet it sounded sweet @8000rpm though Nearly there now
  14. So how does it work when your driving? Is it like just getting an extra higher gear but without having to use the clutch? So keen to give one a burn. Split shifting with hi/low range in subby is awesome. Pretend I'm in a truck/make big diesel turbo noises.
  15. Goof effort re cog swapper. Did you get the driveline shudder sorted? I'm guessing that was why you balanced the driveshaft?
  16. ^ Shit yeah. Epic. Always had a soft spot for the t-cars of this era. Probably due to toca on ps1 ha. Pretty easy to get these handling as good as say the primera? Reason I ask is accords, these, tend to handle average compared to the primera's which were quite hard from factory. I'm sure with the right parts anything is possible for sure.. What sort of power did those motors make standard?
