  1. Calm your farm mate, good things take time/ don't pretend you wont turn up regardless
  2. Not really. Unless the other gubbins are a set of good turbo injectors, or intercooler related
  3. So sprung a small leak in the radiator so that’s away getting fixed. Also pulled the pickup off the tank and hey presto the bottom of the tank is filled with rust flakes. Yay. Guess I’ll need to drop the tank at some point but doesn’t look like a fun job on my back oh the garage so will do it another day/get someone to do it for me. In the mean time will just keep stock in stock of fuel filters haha.
  4. Nah Hamilton but close enough. Keen to get in on the scooter fun and also would make an ideal commuter for work. Anything that works, has a plate, and will keep up for the eastcapeescape /enough spam for your thread sorry xoxo
  5. Lol because you guys are out and about on your scooters all the time aye? also fuck hills
  6. So if you could like, build up a bike for me, then Ill buy it off you in a couple of months when I move up north
  7. @Mourning Cupcake I has no pm from you sorry....but good stuff on getting it sorted!
  8. Break down is a strong word. As long as I keep filters in stock it’s all gravy
  9. That sounds like a lot of effort. But you’re probably right/I’ll just keep ignoring the problem. I pulled off the access panel in the boot to access the pickup but it didn’t look like what I was expecting so got scared and put it all back together.
  10. Yeh have been running that for the last two tanks. The amount of visible shit in the filter was 1 million times less than the first one.
  11. Driving the other day I noticed it wasn't pulling as smoothly as normal, so replaced the fuel filter again (still evidence of a bit of shit in the system) so will keep keeping an eye on that side of things. I really should pull the pickup out of the tank and give it a clean out too, although from what I can gather its just a tube down into the tank with no filter or anything (as it doesn't run a lift pump) so likelyhood of blockages there are pretty slim. Also had a fiddle with my diddle the fuel screw and wound it up in increments until I was just getting a hint of smoke on full noise. Has definitely made it a bit peppier and comes on boost better as well. Fuck I love this thing.
  12. Yeh nah no factory gloria turbo, I got excited when I started reading that line about the diesel but yeh not applicable in my case. Cheers!
  13. Looking at getting my wagon legit (i.e certed) and just checking Im on the right path. So nissan gloria, factory rd28 diesel has been replaced with a rd28t from a completely different vehicle (patrol). All bolt in using gloria parts as same engine essentially. Not a significant power increase (where significant is more than 50% as per lvvta fact sheet). Lowering springs up front, blocks in the back. Am I right in thinking i need drive shaft loops (see the forth bullet point on the lvvta fact sheet on drive shaft loops https://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infosheets/LVVTA_Info_07-2016_Drive-shaft_Safety-loop_Requirements.pdf ), and pray that the factory brakes are up to scratch, but otherwise should be all good? Cheers!
  14. This guy, he knows what’s up.
  15. Oh shit. I searched EK civic and they popped up. My bad.
  16. @mjrstar how valuable is your time and effort? https://www.speedscience.co.nz/product/passwordjdm-carbon-fiber-headlight-block-off-plate-honda-civic-eg/
  17. Won’t the spring pads and everything be in the wrong place as well?
  18. Do you allow neutral parties? Ill pledge my allegiance to whoever gives the best hand shandies
  19. I suspect you are the only person on earth who has done a efi swap with no other certable mods, so its probably not been as much of an issue before as they probably just whack it on the cert plate anyway. Not sure if that deserves a handshake or not.
  20. Now that my friend is a sound idea. Plenty of parking just by the wharf there as well.
