  1. Fucking choice. Got soft spot for these babes. Had one many years ago, VG Regal. one tip though, if you put a 4bbl carb on it please only go to 465 cfm, Double pumpers or anything larger will bore wash the fuck out of a Hemi. In my opinion (used to race a stockcar with an E31 Pacer 245 in it) is use a 40 DCD weber in place of the stock Email or Rochester thats fitted. Far far superior. Bolt pattern is the same iirc but throttle linkages need changing. Anyhow cool ride. Actually wouldnt mind getting another VJ Regal (Yep had one of them too, and a GENUINE E48 4speed Charger too )
  2. Plasticote used to make a very good spray can dye, unsure whether its still available though....
  3. Teach me for not reading entire post before replying.... As a matter of interest whats a 4.1 worth now?????
  4. Hmmmm, cant say Ive ever seen a 4.1 do this before..... seen Holdens do it via crushed sump suffocating the pickup.........
  5. Wouldve stuffed the module. They just give up the ghost random as like that......
  6. Lol. Have seen it done using 7 series BMW (3.9 ratio iirc)stuff. Quite frankly the guy who built it now runs Hilux diffs......Was not a resounding success as this gent thought it was going to be, also RX7 and the like I would imagine the ratios would be too high (you really want a maximum of a 4.3 but Ive used 4.55 and 5.2 before)for dirt work, if you got it right you'd have to run 13s for third or high profile 16s for 2nd. IMO not worth the effort..... Also weight factor to consider, the BMW setup Glen ran weighed MORE than a Hilux diff once he built strong enough arms that wouldnt break all the time....
  7. Whoa. Update. HUGE THANKS to FLAWLES for collecting and sending carbs I been waiting months for. Will have to extract from the shed and fit, replace the headlight that I broke, and get the headlight fitting ring welded back together. Also found another hole in the rh muffler that'll need welding up for wof, and a trip to the auto sparkie to find out why spark is intermittent when the indicators are switched on. More after my holiday.....
  8. As bigfoot said. More notice is required. I reckon a couple of weeks ala sparkles comment. Was great to meet Darryl (bigfoot) and Aaron on the KE. And yuh Old Cunt Northern needs to get his facts straight as to where fucking places are.Rofl
  9. Unless there jetted for a 1725 or similar. Yuh. shouldve really mentioned that.
  10. Buy them if cheap enough and build a firebreathing 1725.(ie cam, head work, big valves, extractors and 2" exhaust) but they would be waste of time on standard engine. Will drink gas like water for eff all increases, plus they will also bore wash the cylinders with fuel and stuff the motor.
  11. yuh. if tuned correctly and everything is in order, no reason why it shouldnt
  12. Rocking along nicely I see. Must make trip to Auckwood for perusement of OS members cars....
