M series is the only series. Except the 7M. I disown that one.

I've read threads on the celicasupra forum of people getting 400odd hp on factory internals. Personally I wouldn't try it myself, but it seems the 5M bottom end can take it. It all depends on how much more power you wanna get. If ya can snap up a 7M turbo setup and get creative with piggyback fuel systems / RRFPRs etc you could make around 300hp for $1K or so. You couldn't get a 2JZ in for that price unless you scored some real good deals.
  11. Shit yeah. All this large diameter piping is just a marketing scam.

Complete opposite. Even though it only has half the valves of the 7M, the ports are a lot better shape so they actually respond to boost a shitload better than the 7M. Cams/extractors etc work quite well. They are pretty easy to get more juice from them.
  13. For more even cooling of the internals. It is hard to get even airflow over a weird shaped object. Radiators don't have this problem.
  14. Saves on trying to run 3" piping all around the front of your car. 1" heater hose is a shitload easier to work with.
  15. I'm modifying the old AC radiator in my car for use on the w2a system. I think it's large enough, and it currently serves no other purpose.
  16. Yah, you could raid a factory one from something pretty easily. Making it fit could be interesting sometimes since they are moulded in weird shapes.
  17. Was going to, but didn't, mention that. Mean Doaskid?
  18. Sucks dude. As Cam said though, much better killing something in a controlled environment than out on the track / street / middle of nowhere. Ya can't find the weak points until they break. May I suggest, if the loom and everything is fine, just give it a quick blast off and try another dyno run, and worry about a full cleanup later? That's what I'd do, but I'm not that big a perfectionist. If I can't see it it ain't a problem etc.
