Toyota 4age black top, who is the diagnostic expert?
My name is Russell replied to Seedy Al's topic in Tech Talk
My black-top also does similar, or-though doesn't sound quite as bad (ours has had motor re build also). It's just not so good at low rev range, our old silver-top car just seemed to be allot smoother. I was going to look at: smaller zorst system, clean throttle body, dizzy cap n rotor, plugs and check the sensor flexi tubes and the likes. No real help sorry. -
Ah ok that's interesting, Bigger zorst, I can do that. wonder what other mods they do. Will see what google says. Was all ready to buy some Hella Rallye lights until I read this article: http://roosystems.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Light-Comparison.pdf images hosting Perhaps LED is the way of the future.

Yeah true, totally agree and been thinking the same. Minimal is best especially when it's already an under powered tank. . . . Wonder what powa you can get from these 4d56's / any more than little to none. I wonder if the 4M40 motor bolts in, doubt it. Mainly keen on roof tent and racks for transporting all my junk. and yeah, never driving in a carpark building again.

Hi Oldschool This is my 4th Pajero, this one used to be my grandfathers so trying to look after it more than the others i have owned. it has a 4D56T motor, so it's a little slow. Enjoyed this pajero the most - V6 petrol powa! Wanting to do some mods for mainland adventures. Thinking something like this, anyone have suggestions & recommendations for upgrades. Probably needs a pinto in it TBH
