  1. Thats me out, away with work all next week. Have fun guys!
  2. Also heard good things about Just Rust in Tawa. Haven't been there myself either, but a friend had his E30 floor done there and was pleased with the results.
  3. Beach sounds mint. But won't be bringing the Range Rover this time, it rusts at the sight of sea water.
  4. My parents one did 14 around town and got down under 10 open road. With Mum driving. Dad was more like 16 and 11. 2004 TS AWD. In contrast my manual AU XR6 did 11 around town and close to 7 open road, on 91 as well. Main reason I chose the 6 over the 8!
  5. Super low key, it's staying a 1.6... for now. Hoping to do a round of 24H of Lemons next year, so just strip it, rollcage and race seat, and I might have some change spare for some springs (spent $800 of $999 max - safety bits dont count)
  6. Glad I came along, food was excellent and so cheap, and company was.... well it was company
  7. Nevermind, seems to have developed a leak since i've had it and is empty anyway
  8. Well the $163.30 quote put a damper on that idea, that's a tad too much! Will try a few other places and see how I get on.
  9. I considered that, but would just rather pay a man some money and not stress about it. Car has been pretty cheap so far, and I should be able to sell the AC bits for enough to cover it twice over
  10. Cheers, have flicked envirosafe an e-mail, hadn't been able to find their website until now.
  11. Looking to remove the AC from a project track car, and wanting to do it safely and legally. Can anyone suggest who I'd be able to convince to come out to Sanson and de-gas it for me? And any guesses on how much I'd be spending? Ps. Hope this is the right place to ask? Pps. Semi-related, anyone need an E36 aircon system? Blows cold
  12. Possibly, but all proceeds go to a good cause (Prostate Cancer and Auckland Rescue Helicopter), and not many endurance events around with such a crazy range of different vehicles where literally surviving is more of a goal than winning.
  13. 24 Hours of Lemons track car? Well and truly qualifies, and would be pretty quick. Bit late for the first round but they are aiming for 3 events next year. www.24lemons.co.nz
  14. The power increase figure refers to "bolt-on" modifications to the existing engine such as intake or exhaust mods, or perhaps injectors etc. Any engine replacement making more power needs a cert, even one making less power needs a cert if it is a different series of engine.
