  1. This saddens me. Hopefully its just a tweaked valve. Is it the lack of comp that is stopping it running with correct injector timing?
  2. Calm down old men. They may have built it up to the flange. God.
  3. Awesome night. Satellites and shooting stars. Majestic AF. What a bunch of good cunts. Will Trade again, A++
  4. Just chequing with Marq if i can use his small bbq thing. So that could be an option. Looking forward to saturday.
  5. @datlow Also, I forgot, i actually have a complete running ds23 donk aswell. Which i'd be keen to sell if you do get and want to get the super going. /just sell it to me
  6. D super 5 speeds are dope. I have a 4 speed box spare, and a d super 23 engine in bits if you need parts. Also have all the hyrdomatique gear from a ds23 pallas if you want to do a pallas conversion, and have automatic manual. /You should just sell it to me cheap as a doner for my '63 plz. I wish to aquire all the LHM shite.
  7. @datlow Jack it up with a floor jack, and biff some old sockets/wood in the suspension between the "shock" and the suspension pivot. So it can't slam itself out again. True story. Easy to access by just removing guard and inner guard. Only a couple of bolts. Have done this before. Along time ago mind you. Its pretty michael mouse, but it works, and doesnt rely on any hydraulics integrity. Can do something similar in the arse end.
  8. For sure Richie, Its definitely nowhere near as refined as the super tidy whips you frequent. But smiles per mile far surpasses the gallons of fuel per mile.
  9. Its got that worm spec corrosion under the clear. Did a bit with some 400. Didn't take too long. So yeah, will regret after i've done one no doubt.
  10. So yeah, Long time, no update. Have driven this a lot since 2014 nats. Got it certed at the start of 2015. And have put hundreds and hundreds of litres of 95 through the carbs. Has been sitting since April, knowing that it needed a new exhaust, tie rod end, and tyres for its next wof. Sudden burst of motivation this weekend just gone and I: Built a new exhaust, with a flexi straight off the extractors, so no more tweaked manifold gasket (would do this within 20 mins of replacing it), as exhaust takes a severe beating. Added an unbolt-able, easily replaceable section for under the diff. A sacrificial exhaust annode. Remade the driveshaft loop, as this sat down ~20mm below the floor, and would catch on everything, had started to bend the floor back. Made this flat so lowest point it the rails now. - Probably have one more wof in the current rails, they have taken a beating too. My TODO list is as follows. I have everything but the tyres: Replace inner rack end and alignment Weld up cracks in extractors and add an oxy bung New manifold gasket New Tyres Oil change Polish up wheels (get rid of that clear coat and machine marks) Janurary WOF Hammer it through the gears! Such a sexy looking 45 year old.
  11. THIS LOOKS AMAZING. What a bunch of terry tough cunts.
