I dont work at a bike shop, but do a fair bit of cycling and have a reasonable collection of tools, if you want to remove that chain?

still hunting for points, might be able to get a set from the UK it seems. But in the mean time got it running (very badly) and registered. Dies at interesections, hills and right hand turns (carb issues?)

looks like it is missing a cover to me, presume this isn't likely to be a problem? so how do you test stators (other than looking for a spark)?

not sure of the year but somewhere between June 1965 & July 1967 Was part of the 'Francis Baptist' VW collection, brought at auction from Turners... Currently not running, doesnt seem to have spark, but not yet sure of whats involved in getting that sorted... But seems to be a fantastic starting point for a project...
