yea thats exactly what i was thinking. i think il go with that electroplating process, sounds like its gona last for ages and i no it looks as good as chrome but not as ricer etc Electroplating IS chroming! Powder coating can be good to if done propaly.

is it out of a Escort or tina? the tina sump wont fit over the escort x member, if it doesnt fit you'l have to heat and hammer your 1300 sump so the rods dont hit the side of the sump, but you've got to keep the bolt patern the same. Other than that its a bolt in job, and you may need to get you head pipe extended a couple of inches so your exhaust clears the floor.
