Inspect airfilter before replacing as i bit of compressed air should probably do the trick.
Radiator and radiator cap condition.
Once you get it going new headlights will help out to with old cars
Just run it on new fluids and if it leaks replace it
Check the plugs? Take another lead off another cylinder and put it on and see if it runs on 4 or 5 to elimnate that side of things. Id think fuel issue would be spread across the entire engine not just one specific cylinder, worth a try thou
pull of individual leads as you run it and work out which cylinder its missing on. If you find you pull a lead and nothing changes thats your cylinder. inspect leads/plug and replace as necesary
You wouldnt be wasting your money but would probably be better money spent getting a less restrictive exhaust put in and geting your cam reground. a tune up/adjust timing will also help alot
