Oh Based on his other building my own ultrasonic cleaner video. These tanks and lids are just standard sized buffet steam trays. I might just replace it then
-
Heres my ultrasonic. Poor thing My transducers are 50w each, so 300w, suit up to 12L. I wouldn't mind picking up an old laundry tub and doing this, I would probably.need another driver and a few more transducers. Will see if I can get the mounting lug bolts out of th3 transducers, might need to heat/weld them to a handle to get out
-
That's the same as mine. Is good. I saw someone using the 30L one and you can fit a 4cyl cylinder head in it

Non hardening mastic Something like this https://www.glasscorp.co.nz/shop/Autoglass/Adhesives+Sealants+and+Primers/Windscreen+Sealants/BOSTIK+5614+MASTIC+WINDSCREEN+SEALER.html If you wanted it in a strip https://www.affordablecaravans.co.nz/Caravan-parts-store/Repairs-Maintenance-products/Mastic/MASTIC-W4-SEALING-STRIP Something like that

If you put a glass jar inside an ultrasonic cleaner, the vibrations will travel through it quite well. This let's you fill the cleaner with normal water and use something stronger to clean in just the jar. You can also use ziploc bags. Plastic containers apparently absorb the vibrations a bit If you have something like multiple cards. It can help for keeping everything seperate as well.

My machine would does 30 min cycles. I'd usually do 2 of them. Good to agitate/rinse as the ultrasonic doesn't really do that My normal mix is a good squirter of dishwash, 70ish degree heat, 30 min. Twice *you can use naughty never to use stuff like petrol or aggressive thinners to help shift varnish. I have never had one explode yet. Usually in a smaller covered jar or similar.

I think you need to consider power and spacing of the sonicators? Vibrators? For effective cleaning. But yeah if my acid dissolved one still has a usable control board, I'm putting it on a big stockpot or something. The one I have I think was 12L. Pretty good size, ran into a few things where a bigger one would have been better. But could, for example, run quad carbs in there several times in different positions to get the whole thing. Being able to fit say 4 mason jars in there at once for small components was also very useful

10L minimum imo and needs to be heated

Wow JDM RHD! -
The kit is sweet dude I mean I'm big on bringing back 2000s sex spec auto salon, so that might not appeal to the average guy on the street, but they are idiots

Many classic cars have this set up. Knows and switches on the dash. I have the indicators, headlight on/off, and wiper switch on the dash area to the left of the wheel in my l200 The only requirements are That they are accessible and not a interior hazard

How big? I have a few

I have a 1.2m wide brake. When you need it, you need it. Remade a lot of long angled panel supports for my ute tray, can do sills on it too with enough small bends. But if you aren't doing long sections that want to look crisp, I think a shrinker stretcher would be more useful. Lots of little boot seams, wheel arches etc. Buy some lengths of angle iron maybe

Contemplating headlight. Maybe these They are bicycle headlights, but I can modify as needed. I actually had one of the fluted ones on a bicycle, I gutted it at put an led torch and battery pack inside. Probably I will just fit a prefocus 6v bulb, as I have a whole box of them

Did the marriage last? -
Oh, as for my ultrasonic fk up I transported a chemical jar of frys reagent in my cleaner when we moved It leaked Frys reagent, it turns out, dissolves stainless steel, so it now looks like a colander If I can salvage the board etc I will attach it to a stock pot lol, but I'm not hopeful
-
Yeah probably too strong for the green, it's got citric acid and washing soda etc in it.
-
That's new to me and I have cleaned similar with simple green before What colour simple green did you use? I use the purple one Did you dilute it? How long? I never looked into what's in either, bit I remember reading stuff like this Il tell you a secret for next time Cheap dishwashing liquid like dawn works just fine. Jar of solvent for the baked on stuff

2 out of test D oxy acet bottles, chained in place, were the go to for the bongo ute Made loading and unloading anything out the tailgate a pain however. Making them into a rear crashbar/bumper you can stand on would be better -
Mildly interested, I think I know the model

Also while looking for scraps, I found I still had the internals of the original filter Which fit exactly into the ammo tin. Also, if I were to cut it down further, to give it a square profile, I could use the original filter set up, and mount the tin on its side, so it opens out. This would also let me use the top surface for the intake/snorkel to rack tube. Which is convenient
