1mz engines? There's plenty up here for sale, bout 1700 shipped. Could buy a wingroad for that tho
  4. Throw the cat in the bin because at that age its not doing any thing any more, is there anything in it? Fit straight pipe Or turbo manifold And then a flexy joint I'd cut those studs off, drill them out and replace with bolts. Tack the heads in place with mig (if the rest of the flange doesn't fall apart)
  5. Just got a lumpy cam m8
  6. Was it wide or something? I get up to 2m sent here for less than 15

I did a whole nissan dualis, closed door respray, wheels too, same colour (but it's a hard colour to match, so just did the whole lot) on about 1.75L of 1:1 basecoat
  9. The fire bowl is held with 4 big coach screws. It has a good air gap between the wood frame and the bench, some heat will transfer through the bolts, but should be fine, very few reports of bbq tables catching on fire
  10. Fitted the bench top with 4 coach bolts on the corners. I also construction adhesived the rest down, but it didn't hold on the front left (there's a bit of tension here so I will probably throw another couple of bolts through on each side Also fitted bottle opener
  11. Day 4ish between rain Painted the bbq with some rustoleum bbq black, used a small roller and it came up nice with a slightly hammered/textured finish.
  12. And for day3 I have my eye on some old totara timber from a knocked down house to close in the sides, will see if I can sneak enough home Think I will waft some high temp black over the bbq, got to trim a bit off thr front lip of the bench for lid to fit nice, then screw it into the frame. Maybe some chimney caulk to seal it in there
  13. Day2 of trash piling Blew my budget on a pan to catch the Ash and a wall mount bottle opener Found some more wood that should be usable
  14. Day1 of rubbish assembly I wanted to keep the sink, but I didn't like the bbq on either side of it, because it would have no work surface. I have hot and cold water on the outside of my tiny house and would be good to use it here. So the sink may find it's way onto hanging off the side or something Will see what comes up, but I would like to paint the frame black and close it in with some stained wood to trim it off. Itl get some shelves and storage depending on how much I can get out of my scraps.
  15. Cleared some more rubbish out Stainless sink/bench I didn't use in the house, couple of charcoal grills Plus the last of my "character" timber from the scrap pile
  16. Wanna ride a GN? Of course you do
