  1. have read two posts in this discussion, but if it comes up as free on the plates.co.nz site then it should be sweet, if it doesnt then it should be on the system. im geussing both of these you have tried, im also geussing that the one on plates.co.nz was free. therefore im adding nothing to this conversation but ive already typed this paagraph so im gonna post it edit, yea hard looks like generic response, if you'd said to them you wanted XXXXXX plate they'd just be like oh lush etc. sale, unless i geuss they have someone that deals with VTNZ in freeing up plates thathave been deregd

  3. east tamaki powder coaters are fucking well priced at the moment, have been getting a few things powder coated for work lately and they are always substantially cheaper. they've got acid dipping baths too so it would all be one price. presumably you can acid dip an alloy?

  6. hey bro funnily enough just yesterday i was asking around a few mates at work and i got recommended to a place called carters tyres, its on highbrook drive/allens road in east tamaki, i always see oldschool/lush shit parked up outside and yea anyway, apparently the guys there arent just muppets that do what the factory settings stored on their computer tell them to. They'll do what you want, or what they reccomend to you or whatever. they do quite a bit of race shit too. i havent personally been there yet but will be probably next week.

  10. i havent read anything other than the first post real similar thing happened to big purps after it had been sitting for a while, it was the idle control valve, it was on bolted to the underside of the throttle or some shit. had water lines going to it and what it basically does is open up when the engine(water) is warm to allow for max throttle. i changed mine out cos i got a lush second hand one from pick a part but i could have easily just taken it off and given it a clean up though i reckon so yea, i dunno if that helps
