  1. Ethanol bases fuel like force 10 seems to go off quick as. Prob just for high performance motors. Both my mx bike and lotus won't run on old gas
  2. Use slightly too small 12 point tube socket and bang it over. Or if car runs fine leave it.
  3. This doesent seem right, the steel part of a spark plug is all one piece. And would take mega force to sheer it. Take a pic??
  4. I got drums on the rear ATM. And princess 4 pots on the front with 260mm BMW discs.
  5. I'm going to replace the brakes on my lotus all round. Will use all wilwood stuff from the states. Does anyone know if I can run the same 4 pot caliper and rotor on all 4 corners and then just use a 3/4 cylinder for the rear and a 5/8 for the front? Has a tilton pedal box in it.   6. If u scan a flange then sit 2 rulers in the picture with the flange when u scan it. On one left right and one top to bottom. Then you can scale the picture in your drawing program and draw overtop. This really only applies to shit drawing program's.

  8. to all the link experts out there, what does the rotary dial inside the case of a v14 link plus? not the one to set the sync pulse width, the other one. have been chasing a fault for ages (miss under load) on my work drift truck (sr20 atlas) and i took cover off and turned it one click from 3 to 4 and instantly (while driving) its much much better! so just want to know what its actually changed. cheers Jase
  9. Hope I don't offend here but I think people that want to go to uni for engineering should complete a apprentaship first. The hands on experience will teach the brain to trouble shoot and design better than any class can.

  15. I don't think my housings are thick/big enough to accommodate new bigger wheels and as far as I know new bearings Arnt available to rebuild my core. I'm open to look at other brands but apart from I think hks or some expensive as brand I can't find any twin scrolls that suit my manifold.

  20. so i need a new turbo to extend my power levels to about 240kw atw on my turbo pinto. (currently 200kw atw) it currently uses a IHI vf36 which is a twin scroll bb turbo used on spec c wrx sti, so i want to stick to this configuration as everything it set up around this. i can pick from kinugawa tdo5 18g tdo5 20g tdo6 20g tdo6 25g tdo6 60-1 and in each i think i can get in either 8cm^2 and 10cm^2 exhaust housings. i currently get 20psi boost at about 3600 rpm and obvisously i would love to keep that but i realise i will loose a few hundred rpm. also currently on 17ish psi seems to be max efficiency for the vf36, above that at high rpm power doesent really change. so i think a more efficent turbo should mean more power at higher rpms? whats your recommendations and please include your reasoning and experiences. cheers Jason
