I have a couple of 2 cylinder car engines. Been playn around with the idea of using them. Only problem is you need to run a radiator. These bikes need to be kept simple. But yeah, will just keep my eyes peeled for something on tardme.

Can we run car engines on our velo bikes ?

Get mufflers guys. Need to keep things low key or fines will start getting handed out. If the cops keep getting called out eventually you will loose the use of the veledrome.

I contacted this guy over a week ago about buying this, but got busy and forgot to get back to him. Theres parts for these or used to be at horipito.

Not to sound like a stick in the mud but you guys have it pretty sweet being able to use that track. Eventually the cops will say no and start handing out fines if they keep getting called out there. I believe the issue is the noise. I think start investing in some mufflers to ensure hassel free usage of the track. Not many places in auckland where you can ride around a circular track like that for free. I for one am going to build a veloracer. I hope to use the velodrome aswell. Just my 2 cents. Was great to see all the bikes out there on saturday. Looking forward to building something myself and joining in.

Looking for some information as to what RWD box will bolt up to a 4G93 engine. Have tried the search function but found nothing that can help me.

Diffs are pretty strong in them too. Drove my 13B supercharged avenger for 8 months on the standard diff befor i sold it. Never killed it. Used to do a few nite speed drag war runs in it too.

Whats the simplest ignition only system that can be used for an injected engine that now runs carbs. Is there a simple wasted spark system or similar avalible off the shelf ? Wanting to run a carburettor on a 1UZ or a distributorless engine such as an RB20

Does anyone know what RWD box will bolt up to a Mazda FP series engine ? Im under the impression a RWD B series mazda box will but dont know. any help would be awsum

I have 11 SR20DE engines out of Primeras. All with under 100ks on the clock. No wiring looms though. Pick up from Manukau or Whangamata. $280 each.

Can a series 6 (batman) gear shifter be relocated forwards ? Anyone done it ? Cheers

I have a couple of options. How about a Ford Vulcan engine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Vulcan_engine Or a Ford Mondeo engine Just so happends i have one of each in my shed. My Vulcan engine has a normal distributor instead of seperate coils and a manufacturures date of 1994. I dont know much about the ford engines except the vulcan engine is super compact and produces 140hp

I used to own a couple of these. I think i even aproach the guy from the drop shop to buy this but he wasnt interested in selling. I too would like to find out what happened to it.

Was my mates car. We just decided one day to put a 1UZ in it. Was running fine prior to that. Originally had a SOHC 2L non turbo with auto. Bit of a strange conversion tho.

Had a look this afternoon. Theres 4 or 5 6G73 and a couple of 6G72's some look to be GDI. The rest are SOHC 6A12 etc. Only 1 is turbo that id like to keep. Im guessing the GDI's are good for nothing. Would be good to see a Mitsi V6 slammed into something RWD tho.

6G or 6A? Im not sure what i have. Will check tommoro. I have 20 to 30 of them.

Put a mitsi V6 in it. Fuel knows what one to fit. I may even have a Mitsi V6 for you for a couple of hundred $$. Would be a sweet conversion. Something different.
