  1. Awesome, should go bloody hard, I think your problem will be finding any semblance of traction, good thing with the right offset wheels you can fit some bloody huge feet on the back of those Supras
  2. Build Thread: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/18438-cruisers-1984-toyota-supra-38-v6/ Just thought I'd say, good idea man.. those Buick based 3.8's go fucken hard and in a MkII Supra, should be the bee's knees. Any particular reason why you went for one of those instead of a Toyota 6 or 8 though? Also, please tell me you're getting rid of that stripe down the front
  3. Yeah I can just see Escorta reaching inside his exhaust port to tighten the nut up on the bolt... watch that water gallery when you drill through Escorta
  4. Give 510WGN a PM, he should be able to let you know , maybe even off the top of his head.. the freak
  5. Your Celeste will always look cooler but the MR2 should hand your ass to you on the track. Drag or Circuit.
  6. Adding sidies to a "standard" 1600Xflow, in most event, would drop the horsepower because the head and exh and valve would be too small and useless to manage the increased air/fuel ratio, it would drown the engine.
  7. Yeah it's sweet man, I like it, always been a fan of BMW's especially the older ones, yours would be nicer if it was a little bit older but it's still sweet. Should get yourself a 635CSi though.
  8. If you've got a tacho, Fairy boy. One of the wires from the loom will connect to the -ve terminal on the coil for that.. my bet is the yellow one. Red usually means +ve so I would connect that to one end of the ballast resistor and then run a lead from the other end of the ballast to your +ve terminal on the coil. Note: If something blows up, it's not my fault, it's your car and that drawing doesn't tell me fuck of nothing so I take absolutely no responsibility for any negative consequences, any postivie ones though, and I'm the man.
  9. Being British, that is distinctly possible Seriously, it is.
  10. I was going to say that but ah... intead. I second that motion!

ahh yes, young grasshopper, you learn well, but you must conecentrate your energies. Fuck I must be old too.. not as old as you though
  12. It's not oldschool. It's just fucken badass, plain and simple. Sweet sweet ride. Doesn't sound as cool as mine does though.
  13. Geez, you fairy. Sit an appropriate sized ring spanner on the inside nuts of the rim, braced against the inside wall of the rim so it can't move when you try to turn the bolt from the other side. Use either a hex/allen key socket attachment onto a longarm and slowly force it until you free it then undo it as normal. If you do not have such a socket then attach your allen key and place a small piece of pipe (approx. 1ft or longer) over the key and use that for extra leverage. (if you've got a hydraulic floor jack, the handle would come in.. handy at this point) If that fails, then take it in somewhere and get someone else to loosen them for you with n impact wrench.
  14. If you keep them gold and eventually paint the car silver.. it will look ghey. Paint them gunmetal or black. Do it.
  15. Are you sure they're genuine 3-piece? or even 2 piece? sounds to me like they might be look-a-likes
  16. PORK CHOP SANDWICHES! Give him the stick... don't give him the stick.. AAAAAAAAAH
  17. If it's any help, I ran a RAM-FLO on my old VK with no problems at all and better flow that a pancake filter (mind you, it was fed through a bonnett scoop) and also ran one of the C110 when it was single carb and the only problem I had on that was the little mounting wire thing came off and the filter foam came off and started melting on the exhaust.. but I noticed in time, so it' wasn't too bad. It's now on my Bluebird, until I get the twins for that, then it'll be sitting away in a corner until I buy another car that doesn't come with a stock air cleaner
  18. well I never! *lifts handbag*
  19. RT keeps telling me to get a RAM-FLO so.. I think that's actually your best bet.
  20. You're right, you might be able to trick the WoF man, but if you have an accident you're not going to trick the Insurance assessor who will happily null and void your policy for having that wrong capacity engine in there.
  21. I've seen a few but they're certainly not common, especially in his vintage, they're probably a little more common than a C110 but not far off.
  22. Prince, Nissan/Datsun and Japanese related mostly, but a bit of other here and there.
  23. Sadly man, I'm just obsessed. My head is full with all kinds of car related nonsense.
  24. Also the outer ring of the outer combo has a flat red lens on the GT-R as opposed to the raised lens on the non-GT-R
  25. GT-R tail-lamps have red outer rings on both inner and outer combos, non GT-R have the inner set switched, so the reverse lamp is the outer ring oand the brake lamp is the inner dot, on the inside section.
