  1. FUCKING WHORE!! Fuck! Of all the fucking cars she could have fucking hit! FUCK! Words cannot begin to describe my anger at that woman. My sincerest condolences, I'll try find the details of that guy i almost bought one off, because he had a couple, he might still have one maybe but it's doubtful. I'll do some digging for you.
  2. Fuck that rules man, you know your cars low when you have to use a massive prybar slid under the chassis just to get it high enough to use a jack.
  3. Show the boys some pictures of the wildcat bro, that's fucken choooooooooice. Also, your wagon is choice. I should "borrow" my brother 1200 wags and come up to CHCH for wags races

    McStrut Woes

Rattle gun it? Are you serious?!
  5. Not sure on the mechanical/pedal box dynamics of the cedric bro, but I'll take a squiz when I'm next in Dunedin if you like man? It's weird, Mark. Definately needs some investigation. Another good thing about you car though bro, is that's it's an early one with the square rear reflectors. They're so much nicer than the later rounded ones. IMO.
  6. Nah, that's likely timing my good man. What you want to do, if find an old carb'd L-series Laurel or a 240 or 260C single carb. Get the carb off that, and slap it onto your 910. I tell you, the difference is magic. I had all manner of problems with my 910 cutting out intermittently and then just grabbed the old carb from my C110 and threw it on there (because the 110 is running twin ESS UZE now) and it was choice. Sadly, my brother still absolutely destroyed me in his 1200 wagon When i say destroyed, what I really mean is that he kept beside me through most the acceleration before slowly pulling away, I count it as destroyed because his 1200 wagon is fucken pushrod a-series 1.2 and the 910 was OHC L-series 2.0. I was gutted/didn't really care/still cry about it/never raced him in the first place officer.
  7. Edit: Fuck.. disclaimer to BDA's advice.. if you have any kind of pacemaker or other type device.. don't do it!
  8. That's curious bro, I'm fairly certain the 'L' is for LHD, does the chassis stamp have an L on it and does the number on the plate match the stamp? The way it is on brochures for the 240K is (K)H(L)GC110 K = Hardtop H = L-series, in our case, L24 L = L.H.D (at least, it is with most Datsun codes of that era) G = LWB ie. 6cylinder C110 = Model Code There's suffixes as well but I'm not sure on the specifics of those, I don't have the FSM for the C110, only a parts catalog.
  9. I did the same when i first got mine. Needs to be done I reckon, you're then less likely to get any nasty surprises. Still keen on this photo with the 'L' in there bro.
  10. Uhm.. what? 'L' means LHD
  11. also, I think I have a flywheel sitting at home, that I was going to send to lachlan years ago but the price of freight to aus made it completely ridiculous and was easier for him to find one there. CA flywheels, clutches and pressure plates bolt up. Found this out the other day when I took the pressure plate and clutch off my brother's old S130 and slid the clutchplate onto the CA gearbox and my old L gearbox, fits them both, pressure plates bolt the same too. Can't help with the PP and CP but yeah, the Flywheel, like I said. Pretty sure I have one.
  12. The parts car not have a flywheel etc?
  13. dubious about the fresh paint in the bay and the cut heater hoses BUT WHO FUCKEN CARES! WARRANT BITCH! The manual conversion should only take a couple of hours, pedals are fuckall, about 3 bolts, clutch master and slave a couple each, undo the driveshaft at the diff end, marking one bolt hole so you put it on the same way, unbolt the centre mount for the driveshaft, slide the shaft out, remove the console inside, fuck... you know the drille anyway i'm sure... but if you get stuck just giv me a holla, it's quite possibly the simplest manual conversion in the world. DO EEET The difference is hilariously awesome
  14. Holy crap, that photo makes the 'teg look huge! Does look sweet though dude, nice car(s) boys.
  15. Either an advance or a mixture problem, might want to try the 2L carb but lean it down slightly.
  16. It won't look like a plunger until it's unscrewed though, so just look for a small either round or hexagonal shaped thing ontop the housing and try unscrew it, it should unscrew fairly easily and then pop up, allowing it to be used as a pump, I do have my doubt however that it has one...
  17. Definately a good deal to get that white one. Swap all the manual gear in with the 5spd from a 280zx and BAM, you're good to go.
  18. Indeed, that's how I got the 110 fixed (albeit poorly it turned out) when a tourist slammed me.. constantly hounded them and wouldn't take no for an answer.
  19. DUUUUUUUUUUDE You seen this? PLUS VIDEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCKYEAH!
  20. No way man, write a very wordy letter stating your intentions and draw an awesome diagram of what actually occurred. An indicator is there for a fucking reason otherwise they wouldn't be a goddamn warrantable item!
  21. Make sure they're nice and clean and dry and ready to fire before you put them back in too
  22. Gently tap it, rotate it slightly, tap it again, rotate more, tap it again, rotate more, if after a few full rotations it isn't moving at all then apply and release the hand brake a couple of time, pull it to full extension, release it, repeat. Hopefully the extra movment from really wrenching the fucker on will allow it to release that little bit more as well. I'd come give you a hand boe but wrong end of country and all that
  23. Oh noes! Maybe that's a Nissan thing then. You haven't left the handbrake on or something?
