  1. Nah, look like middle aged guys in the 80's on their waiy to watch some cricket on a hot summer day.
  2. Piss off, they're not ugly! They're a brilliant looking car.
  3. Assume this is where you got the brochure image from... http://www.eunos.com/keith/110S/1.html Suitably hilarious brochure to look through.
  4. Keen for shenanigan photographs. Also, stink re: final notice but... shit happens. Grumpy Landlords ftl.
  5. You are a legend Mr. rxsumo. Good work on recovering such a wonderful beast. Best of luck in the restoration.
  6. Hey man, I'm with you on the colour, it's not even on a list of colours I would choose. Also, if the 5spd in it fits perfectly and the driveshaft hasn't been changed then it's like a shorty box from an R30. Is it on twin SUs or just a single carb?
  7. Those TM ones listed are globes man. I wouldn't use 'em, not a good look for your era IMO, widened steels would be the business.
  8. Yeah, probably better that you didn't. Being mistaken for another person would be bad.
  9. Skyline History articles. Always fun.
  10. OK. Let's get this shit sorted out. A) There's no such thing as a can of Compression or "Kompression". It was a bit of a laugh, you took the bait, it probably went too far. It's still funny that you went to a counter and asked for it though and not only that but the people you asked had not a fucking clue. Of course your engine was smokey on startup, you squirted WD40 down the bores, it would take at least a little while for that to clear. C) Did you turn it over a few times to build up any semblance of oil pressure before you went to firing it up? Your friend you bought it off, told you it was smokey. Why would anyone park up a vehicle that was only a little bit smokey and leave it sitting with bits and pieces pulled off, unless they knew it wasn't a 5minute & $50 job to remedy. It's not been running for a year, you fire it up (thankfully, you warmed it up, even though you got it hot enough to force water out the radiator) and you proceed to rev the fuck out of an engine that you know was smokey and that was likely bone dry of oil. I bet the rings were toast before-hand and if they weren't then. They are now. The engine will need pulled down and built up. Like I said... from the start. You'll be better getting another one on the cheap with an engine that isn't fucked and a body that isn't fucked. Even if the chassis is good, like you seem to think it is (I personally doubt it would be), then you're still left with what? A money pit. At best what you've got is drive-line spares for another one.
  11. Did you let it warm up before you thrashed the tits off it?
  12. Nah. Polished lip takes away from it IMO. Edit: LOLs at your edit.
  13. No different than Lambos or GT-Rs, other than which wheels have main drive
  14. I walk past a 4WD one on the way to work. Ponder leaving a note but don't actually want one Would prefer a Civic 3dr Hatch rather than the shuttle, or a 2nd Gen City. Still, yours looks alright. Not sure about dark rims against the blue to be honest. Maybe something bright like fluro green.
  15. Pretty sure he got it sorted guys. He got a WoF on it anyway, would be a worry if they let it through without them working
  16. Mean bro, engine in. Get that stz all bolted bakc together, a vacuum and a wash and take it down for a re-vin. Awesomeness incarnate.
  17. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16203 Don't think it is a P76 bro, general consensus seems to be Chevy Diesel. Was bored at work and spent hours trawling through google images, thought of the leyland 4.4 and nothing matched up on it. If you look at that thread, follow the solid lines that run across the valve cover they appear to attach to a glowplug.
  18. I so would have fired that cunt up already
  19. Dude, that's rotten! They actually steal it, or just fuck it trying to?
