  1. Nice!! Old tyres were poos
  2. About $200 - $250 a pair I think? Paid $220 for my 1155's
  3. Amen to that. Just send them your backing plates. If you can't do that because its your daily then give them the model of your car and they will pull a pair of standard pads for your brakes off their shelf, burn them off and use the backing plates and have the mintex material put on them. Mintex 1144, 1155, 1166 are all good products. Recommend getting some decent brake fluid too
  4. Tough looking cars. High-rise tyres ftl! Haha.
  5. A few Mark 2 wagon related vids First Second Third Fourth lol when guys says "undaaaaa"
  6. ^^ LOL. tsk tsk. Pics or it didn't happen please
  7. ^^ Bistro has it sorted. Wheels are mean indeed. Go the EX!
  8. Widebody = tough. Japs do them up pretty mean. Can fit some nice wide wheels into those arches : D
  9. Also try http://www.lancerregister.com. Their forums have an extensive EX2000 (EX turbo) section which might hold good info on these motors.
  10. Spa Pool in the rear ftw.
  11. Dude... ONE AT A TIME PLEASE :@ Mean though. Lots of potential. Matching flower power paint aka Al please : D
  12. Mean ute streaker boy! Take some "it looks like its parked on a hill" pics plz.
  13. MORE PICS + small update Dash arrived, tacho!! How do you muck around with the odo so it matches mine ? Wipers now on too. Back to 2 wipers ftw. GT Monroe gas shocks rear Bosch GT40 coil Weber Throttle setup Radiator = porked, other side is much the same. Time for recore. GOT WOF TODAY... albeit a dodgy one. Stuff that needs doing: - Missing left windscreen wiper DONE - Front left wheel bearing is stuffed, quite a bit of play. Will need to replace - Rear mid and right park lights don't work
  14. Damnit, probably moving flats that weekend ftw
  15. Front brake calipers and backing plates please : D? How much $?
  16. Hey man. Loving the paint. Flash as!
  17. Ah true. So at the end of the day, if I can score one of these for cheap (and if it will actually fit easily into my housing) I should just go for one of these rather than saving for a TRD $$$? Other option of course is to lock a spare one to use for track day : D
  18. Add Sigma GSR-X with kromiez to that list haha... Was down in the S.I. last week for work. So much vtak with stainless muff!! OS hard : D
  19. Found that on 3TC.com forums. He's a dude from NZ (is he on here too?) What does "torsen" mean and has anyone tried fitting a rear gt4 lsd into a 6.7" T series rwd diff?
  20. ^^ Haha I can't be arsed ay. Mate Warrick is a boat builder and could glass ez pz. Probably just rangi-beat styles/weld on a lip onto the factory mounting brackets and cut the old one out and just shape it. Cheaps. Tried to work on the car tonight over at mate Darrin's place. During OS Nats I noticed the car was really gutless before we took off for the cruise. It wasn't until Sunday morning at the brunch place that we figured out the throttle cable had slipped/stretched. So we tried adjusting it but were quickly running out of thread so pretty much I drove home on primaries only haha. Turned out tonight that a) the accel/return spring was catching on the custom bracket which we filed down so it would clear. But the cable is well and truly fucked as its stretched hard. So gonna grab another one off this parts car I've been getting stuff off from TradeMe. Also when we were mucking around with that stuff tonight noticed some fresh fluid on mates hand, odorless... brake fluid. Master brake cylinder had a bit of a bashing at trackday so is starting to have bum wees. Might just go for a bigger master cyl to replace the current one before next trackday. Gonna go get radiator re-cored when I can be stuffed too!
  21. Tough car. Wouldn't look out of place in a Jap version of 'Sabotage - Beastie Boys' music video clip YES GET JDM MAGS!! If you can find them
