  1. yea u shud be able to rotate the core keeping both housings in the same position just may have to mess around with locators
  2. usually ends up will a build up of oil in the core which in turn bypasses the real oil seal resulting in smokey joe out the exhaust
  3. really want the drain coming right out of the bottom of the core
  4. r100 steelies are 14" most of the aussie guys use van rims i think or "chasers" which i think came on saabs and are actually 4x109 or something have a search on ausrotor theres a few topics about it both 15s
  5. hilux axles you usually need to get ones far longer than what you need so you can respline them from the larger diameter part or otherwise you just trim the ends of the spline (still uses original spline)
  6. you have a mitsi box correct? check when you take the reverse sender out of the box that there is a small ballbearing in there its what contacts they drop out easy as if sumone has taken the switch out at some stage
  7. I've heard you can get away with them in your car as long as you still keep the factory belt, and use that for road use. Don't quote me on that though that sounds like a load of shit. that making the car less safe which just about immediatly means fail . ill check tomorrow in our book . not sure bout here but think thats the deal in oz to do with getting out of car quickly etc if fire or in water
  8. sender needs to match gauge so yes needs to be autogauge
  9. yea iv found they suck balls too, gbox swap is next on my list aswell weird my box has been mint so far, probably just jinxed it ! i havent had any issues with mine as far as breaking goes but the two iv had have made me think i was driving a bus
  10. i didnt go but found this footage of the vaughan advanti evo on another site is the gebbies pass run he won by 4 sec apparently
  11. bumpstrips rule, never get rid of them
  12. lol i just cant see how someone who was/is in to rx60s can call anything else a boring box shape
  13. plus when you have almost everything minus a little bit of damaged suspension to make another lancer it would be stupid to go and do something way different nothing bland about a 2L turbo ex specially not one thats pumping 300kw and dont you own an altezza?
  14. cheers guys as much as im happy i didnt get hurt, it still sucks im sussing a lancer shell out at the mo but if its not what i quite need then ill let everyone know so they can be on the lookout hi and wide
  15. yea not too happy to say the least twas a pretty harmless spin out at ruapuna then hit the ripple strip and over she went rolled it twice, got alittle banged up but im all good yea reshell is the answer, most of the modified stuff is ok so itl be another lancer shell broke the engine mounts and shit tho and cam gear went through the bonnet and snapped
  16. Where lakepipes = dirty side exit. Better? filthy side dump just after rear wheels please
  17. sounds noice but whered the mask go
  18. 13s look way too small the guard gap clearance will look massive 13x6s even worse, small and skinny im in the same boat as you mang but good luck fitting anything wider than a 7 on the front let alone 7 with a decent offset im not prepared at the mo to spend heaps on a set from yahoo tog et em here and they aint even close to fitting
  19. same here had to change my rims cos of it I guess it depends on what size spring you run maybe. Ive got adjustables in my lancer with starion struts and im pretty sure my 17" rims didnt foul the spring or adjusting nuts. But they did hit the struts without spacers. obviously ive still got 17s on there now there just 40 offset rather than 45 (which is fuckin fwd anyways)
  20. will fit, will also look ghey constructive i know
  21. same here had to change my rims cos of it
  22. Ke36

yea just keep ur gauges and shiz and bout 4 screws and swap the surround
  23. you just need the d/shaft flange to get put on a modded d/shaft both rear and front hilux diff - d/shaft flanges are the same
