does anyone know what stock hemi 245 (valiant engine) pistons look like.. as in, are they flat tops or dished etc? i took the head off the stocky today and the pistons are flat top.. i dont have a clue what pistons they are.. im hoping theyr a high comp spec.. ive seen a pic of a forged race piston thats a flat top but i wouldnt have a clue how to tell whats what... any help would be good...otherwise ill just press on regardless.. oh also the pistons dont appear to look old, nor do the valves in it...

could be keen if the $$$ is right... cant find any info about them anywhere.....blind moment im sure

yo, must be a couple of beddy fans out there.. been looking at a van...but wanna know what stud pattern these run. i bet its some super gay pattern, like a one off size.. dont really wanna get something i cant easily get some old school rims for.. or, the other option is restudding them, does anyone also know if theres enough meat on the hubs to that? diffs easy, restud the axles and redrill the drums.. the one ive been looking at apparently has a 2l in it, sounds gutless as fuk to me..so keen to find out more about dropping in a better motor for towing.. and yeah the van is a high roof camper steez...may paint it up like mr whippy (prosty boy) any info on this stuff would be mean.. cheers

that could be it right there.. have you checked out bowdens for one? doubt hed have one but you never know

did you only use a paper gasket or some sealer aswell? whip the manifold off, biff the gasket and rtv the bitch up...

our proceed did this when the tyres were naffed in the back... was epic crapping myself in the wet sometimes when you forget that it locks up.. is all good now with good tyres and new front pads,re adjusted the rear shoes..

you can if you can get away with it ive used both systems laquer and 2k.. have always found the laquer easier to lay down for some reason.. however white 2k is the shiz ive got some black 2k in the shed that i need to do something with.. may end up selling it though....

gizzy speedway had an auction last night and it seems i won a 8 bolt flywheel so now i can run anything half decent that holden made... the ecotechs seem to be the way to go in the stockys.. all 3.8s need the mains bearings replaced cos theyr shit in stock form, last about 2 races then knockety knock knock... may start building a brand spanker car for next season in my spare time( spare time? yeah right)

is it running on lpg?? gas/petrol knob sounds like it does...
