Definatly not in winter , no heater!!!! im thinking i might get a 12 v hair dryer n use it as a demister! yep slant 6 but 3 speed auto!!! got a holly single barrel economaster ! seems to go pretty hard! puts a ford 4.1 to shame! but its not about going fast ! its about wagon speed!!! and we all know what that is! theres a 12v box type heater of trademe at the moment...good for hot rods and shit that dont have heaters.. ill try and track it down for ya

thats what they do if theyr onto it... when i was working at the muffler shop there was a shit rx7 come in, boned on mods,0% tints,flares etc..pretty gay really.. failed on everything.. came back in 2 days later, was jacked as, on steels,windows wound down..flares off.. so i told the boss, thats had the rims changed, suspension changed, check the windows for the tints and note the flares removed.. on the wof sheet he commented: wheels have changed since initial check, suspension height changed, flares removed...covers his arse.. he made them wind the windows up and what do you know??? stil had the tints on...so he made them rip them off on the spot.. got a wof then it fucked off...pretty sure it fucked out a couple of weeks later..haha

ok so whts the run down on bleeding these?? just for archives sake??? i had one in a stockcar but binned it cos it wouldnt bleed up and hold any pressure

this would explain the massive vibe i get in the stockcar at full noise.. the diff is centred, engine is offset by about 60mm..driveshaft to box/diff looks like a Z...lol

does it make a ticking noise?? slide underneath and have a look...see if theres any play in the uj's.. also check bump stop clearances and other shit that maybe rubbing

took it for a spin down the rd this arvo...shit it goes good...twice as good as the last motor.. an i found the button that works the overdrive!! yus! when you put ya foot down it gets the mean black "im on diesel and boost" trail....spins the wheels pretty good too..haha gotta love quiet country rds..

got it running...the ip was bone dry.. fixed a trans leak from 2 pipes rubbing together. will get it into a sparky to sort the alt, i dont think its getting triggered..no light and no charge.. will also get them to sort the guages,they keep blowing the fuse out.. want to get the tacho sendor put in aswell...will need to take it off the old motor and put it in the new one. but this motor runs sweet as... once all thats done ill take it for a wof,cos my sister offered me some coing for it.. will sell to her unless someone else offers me good coinage.. had a big win today...scored a contract for next season-farm manager...less time to play, but more money...win

nah,was an ef..original motor..possibly the last of the f's though...it was a gli... even my old bosses ef xr6 had a dizzy,cos i changed it when it died

yup...from memory(looking at a mates stocky) the dizzy is all good, run a electronc type coil,and theres about 4 wires to the dizzy module on those....pitty i gave my spares away with my last car.. just a case of finding out which wires go to the coil etc.. 2min job for an auto sparky
