  7. So much productivity on this.......not Decided to get something done on this. Trans pan was leaking from changing the filter. Dropped the pan and lots of atf all over my arms cos no drain bung. Rip. Also pulled front calipers again cos they are dragging. Might/will probly drop off at CBC and pay them to go over them and make new again . No photos
  8. Pitureless update. Spent a bit of time on this today. Took the front brakes and one hub off. Found the front calipers a pretty rooted. Bad pitting on the caliper pistons and the insife of the calipers is pretty manky. Could probably do with new disks as well Also front left wheel bearing is toasted so might as well do both sides.
  9. Yea gets engine braking in low. But is pretty slow going down in low when it hooned all the way up in star
  10. Took half a sick day today. Felt like taking the Honda for a wee Hoon round lyttleton. Went up dyres pass all in star. Brakes were a bit average on the way down though Looking lush at Cass bay Sign of the kiwi

  12. the pulzar is faster. the civic is punishingly slow. less cc and auto
  13. What is the point of doing this. Wouldn't air flow still be limited by the original single carb manifold?
  14. Massyferguson 135 Get the 3 cylinder diesel. Goes hard. Parking engine will live forever and be reliable in all weather Also totp
  15. Did another couple hrs on this today. Got the back corner all wrapped up. Couldve been better with a few more tools. But hey it's fine for the mean time
  16. Have been dreading going the rust in the roof. I knew it was gonna be a masstive pest to do because of the channel for the rubber being to small for the might torch. The back side of the weld Being inside the car (fire hazard and can't linish welds back because huge mess). And mig welding on a roof which is most of flat so will move around really quick with heat....... Started by cutting Came up with this as a result .cant see the big wave in the photo. Will need to take to work and dress the area of repair properly. Blugh. now to get into this mess
  17. Productivity has been high on this due to deadline for hanmer..... So tonight I dug into the rust. Was worse than initially thought. No problem though. Was a bit tricky not having a guillotine/folder/nibble/compressor that keeps up with air tools/gasplant for welding the panel repair. But despite all this it got don no photos of during process due to such high productivity. But before and after. Will prob just rattle some green on for the mean time and epoxy, fill, and paint properly later on down the track / never
  18. Went to safe r brakes to get seals for wheel cylinders. Figured I'd ask about complete cylinder. As it luck would have it 2 new cylinders on the shelf for s measly sum of $20 each (trade account) Probably should've gotten new shoes, but meh only one photo just need to bleed the air back out if the fronts again. Stupid single circuit brakes Next step: tackle the rust
