I know how to find the ratio by turning it but mate will pick it up in his van on his way through late one night and I thought it might have a ratio stamped on it like most trucks do

Are there any marks on pinion shaft ( or elsewhere) to identify the ratio and if its LSD long way to travel to find its the wrong diff

Nothing wrong with 7s if your running a standard 6 and its a work vehicle

I'm also in Karori can take it with me n the morning will be working all around Karori in the morning and will be working at panel shop in John St near the hospital in afternoon if that helps

I'm not a boating person but I have noticed older second hand boats are real cheap a while back I was dropping of a bin at a customers house and started talking to the neighbour, long story short he's got a fiberglass 25ft ish cathedral hull boat on trailer with it outboards etc never even started it in 5 years trailer is rotten and basically just wants it gone couple of k I think would seal the deal ,I think he paid 25k for it a few years ago Ohh yeh the boats called fugly
