One of these style shears will be on my list if I do rust repairs in anger again https://www.machineryhouse.co.nz/s184 Far more control than tin snips.

How hot was the tank? Ali is best at low temp or it does horrible things, especially with high pH cleaners
-
Thats quite the air conditioning set up, the financial controller will be most pleased you're including their comfort in the build

I use these fellas for pouring paint https://www.bunnings.co.nz/monarch-universal-paint-spout-3-pack_p1662372?store=9482&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwyL24BhCtARIsALo0fSCCmUj4cje50nGz41-KoHiWHFQeGjDNEyX4uyiVNMdI4SWDy2GtIHsaAm0mEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds My OCD means each colour has a tin, clean up easy with minimal waste, also grabbed a stack of 50mL syringes for hardener/small tins.

I used concept paint for the Datsun, this was after chatting with the paint rep about what I was after which was a period finish, not show winning gloss. I'm really happy with it, to me the finish "looks" right for a 70s car. Used 408 and concept epoxy primer, the 408 was way nicer to work with, +1 for that.

Sentence should be 6 hours but put the guy with the keys on one day per week Cos cost control reasons

Thinking a spdt switch could then power the relay when opened?
-
Can you substitute a different switch in?

Does 5/8 fit in 3/4? sounds like a custom fitting rather than bush?

I can understand your DGAF attitude more now I see that your spa is in direct line of sight to the neighbours -
Energy storage has always been the flaw, i'm pretty sure though on a case by case basis there are cost effective options, half the new tech I work with is fine in the lab, all the cost and refinement is so that ol mate penis fingers on the street won't kill himself when released at scale, if you build it and know the issues, I see no reasons why a cheap but functional system can't be found.

We removed our hwc for gas cos the house is tiny and took up valuable space, I also have so much hate for the things, ran out of hot water? tough luck, nope, its 2024 and if I want a hot shower now, i'll be having a hot shower. Ditching those electrons into a spa however.....
-
With Solar panels being so cheap i'm keen as to throw a stack up on the garage and profit. This is offset by not having any hobby interest in learning or developing BMS systems to stop my house burning down from cobbled together EVs I know i'll not get into alternative storage methods in a hurry, just keen to see where you end up out of interest.

Go dig up the system from Somes island? https://www.hylink.nz/
-
Yeah, but who cares if its inefficient when the input power was free? Any extractable energy stored is a bonus

Mean, keen to see how you get on, my brain is poisoned with having worked with commercial high pressure systems and knowing how complicated they need to be.

AC is in the 10-15 Bar range. 2000 psi in a gas is multistage/intensifier realm cos big ratios = heat I'm assuming a bottle of Nitrogen is not on the possible list?

What a treat, thanks putting on a fine weekend away. Sorry to all I chatted with for not instantly remembering everyone, wasn't until the drive home that I managed to put names back to faces. Sure sign these things are too far between
