The upper lever shifts in to gear, and the lower lever shifts side to side across neutral. It'll mean your gears will be kind of backward, 1st and 2nd will swap places, and same with the rest. It is possible to correct that with some linkages, and I'm sure you could figure it out.

Can you turn that upper gear lever 180 and have it above the box?

Who's keen? Let us know if you're driving or require a seat so we can gauge numbers. Meet at 8am in Hornby/Sockburn (PM me for the address) it's a locked yard so passengers cars will be secure. I've got plenty of recovery gear and there aren't too many of us so don't feel like you have to rush out and buy stuff. But if you've got gear by all means bring it along. It's a small hut so don't expect a bed, there's plenty of sheltered space to pitch tents. Bring: Tent Sleeping bag and something to sleep on Warm clothes (hopefully the weather is good but we are in the middle of nowhere and things can change quick) Torch Food, two lunches and a dinner, and snacks. I have a two burner cooker you're welcome to use. Plate, utensils etc. Cooking pot or something. Medications. Towel. The station charges $20 per vehicle to get through the gate. Did I miss anything? Questions?

How are you measuring the heat? You mentioned something about taking out a gauge sender, was it relocated?

Looks like it's at the top on the pump outlet. One would assume it's the right way around with the valve at the top? Can/did you burp the inlet hose at the water manifold just under the front of the charger? What's the Senders taken out of that manifold?

There does appear to be a left and right though Edit: Also, did you say the heater is hooked up? Is it blowing hot air when the engine gets hot? Dodgy thermostat? I wouldn't think so if it's heating straight away.
