I also got around to sorting out the annoying 'ting' in my front suspension, turns out that the insert retaining nut was a little loose on the drivers side. Seems good now.

Aren't head gaskets only supposed to be crushed once? If you are going to check clearances I guess you would have to crank it down to correct torque settings and therefore render the gasket useless if you pull the head off again?

Pointless update as per usual, but it's the car's 32nd birthday today. Happy birthday old girl, you've been busy over the last few years, working multiple 20 hour shifts and getting stuck in snow storms and all.
