Leaving that hose undone isn't so bad as a vacuum leak, it's the spark timing that matter more (in my mind) but yeah it goes to the manifold or carb' base.

Yes it is. i have a couple of dead ones if you want to pull them apart and fix them. For..you know, shocking people and maybe connecting to a car or metal bench with multiple people on it. -

i tried that, didn't work for me. Might work if i had an old camera that used film but i don't have one. Would you try it & see if it works? -
Happiness is spares of everything. Two of everything and... i forget what the rest of the equation is.

i have 3 coils that sort of work, bought as "old electric fence energizers". The buzzers were operated by the magnetic field in the coil itself, the pole actually protruded. Hence i figured using bike coils with the points buzzers attached would have lost some of the magnetic field by the point it reaches the outside of the case, and coil gauss saturation is important for a good spark. But yes, i see we think alike in some things. -

Trying to get the old ignition sensor working again. Made some connectors from offcuts of copper and some bullet casings. They fit, i will need to get some coils to work though. Was thinking about making a kind of MOSFET exciter thingy, i have some transistors from an old stereo amp but they do not behave the way the transistors i grew up with behaved. Today i found some red hard fibre washer material so i'll replace the insulation on that thing. -

Fill with used oil and seal cap and pump grease gun into fuel outlet might be an option? Less chance of going bang compared to air. -

Large ball bearing inside and strong magnet outside running around the edge of the dents until they are worked down flat works on brass instruments, might not work so well on a steel tank though but might be worth a try. -

SOHC told me where but i forgot. Have to ask him i guess. -
Have heard it said that uneven fans are quieter. Which is why some trucks have 7 bladed fans grouped in 1 lot of 3 and 2 lots of 2. The X shape is less even than the + shape.

i think they have a metal rod in a hole in a metal tang so you loosen the wing nut and pull the pin on the other side.

My thought was in the animators mind the low density air retained momentum until it hit the valve so built up to atmospheric pressure fron the valve end. Or it was easier to animate it that way. -

If stocks of bumper iron have been depleted would you consider a tube and angle iron emulation? Nobody would likely see it.

The tube sticking out of the dashboard is a light, like a map light but can be turned to light up the instrument and switch on the dashboard. Supposed to look like this. Mine is made from a small piece of copper, a nitrous oxide canister of the kind that used to be found on every roadside, a disused trim clip spring and a piece of wire that was one of the tie wire / safety wire bits on one of my connecting rods. Waste nothing.- 69 replies

So SOHC helped me turn these wheel bearing spacers. Actually he did most of the cutting out, i only did one cut and the radiusing of the corners and honing and gave them a really rough polish. Now more modern type wheel bearings will fit //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/47381-rustiz-1920-26-ford-t-bucket-of-rust-discussion/- 69 replies
