    LSD Clutches

Trying to find some new lsd clutches for my Isuzu. New genuine set is $500+ which is a bit more than I want to spend. From looking at pics they look the same as r200 ones but cant find any dimensions for them. Does anyone know if there are any other diffs with clutches like these. Also what break away torque should I be aiming for?
  5. Nope just having less meat on one side means they don't last that long
  6. Just a note on caster correction bushes, they don't last very long. On my land rover I slotted the bolt holes for the swivel bolts to the axle to give me a couple of degrees caster back
  7. Its a common conversion in the states, can buy a kit to bolt it in. The engine are cheap and easy to get especially for you in the uk, can buy run with the ecu or fit a purely mechanical pump
  8. Do you want a mint one or a project? I know a guy who is thinking of selling his, its an early factory manual one, needs a bit of work though
  9. Was going to see if I could extend the filler hose other wise it will have to be filled in and moved to the ute position
  10. Do not pull apart the warm up regulator or fuel distributor. Guaranteed to have some dribble dick injectors but that usually only affects hot starts. But you should be replacing the injector o-rings anyway
  11. Also any vacuum leaks will cause problems too
  12. Yea was thinking with the bronze it would save a bit of heat and easier to grind flat
  13. Does anyone have any experience with silicon bronze mig welding? Was thinking about having a go at it as I'm going to cut the guards off the well side of my isuzu ute to weld on ones off a mu as they have a bigger flare, only thing is that a 5kg roll is $440,
  14. The aerocatch ones look alright
  15. I use the xt60 and xt90 connectors on my rc gear, the xt30 would be fine

The gt2056 is quite a bit smaller and 4 generations older. If you are not controlling the vanes to control boost it is a waste of time having a vnt.

Ended up getting one of these, scored it brand new off facebook for $50 and then got another gauge from a ute that was going to scrap. Have bought a vnt turbo to go on my rodeo, its a gtd2056vkr from a ranger. I will need to change the actuator to a vacuum operated one but undecided if I control it with a dawes valve or one of these vnt boost controllers https://www.tuning-diesels.co.uk/digiboosters/
  19. All I can add is that I won't deal with proline again
