  1. Good morning, qurstion you probably get asked 100000 times a day, what’s the budget one should allow for cost for coilovers and wheels on a Japanese vechile? also for getting multiple wheel options is there a further cost per wheel? thank.
  2. Tbh close to $1 reserving it on trade me . thing makes a nice shelf in the shed though....
  3. Yeah, @Chris.QCR been looking on Ali at tiny indicators and that and gonna do some re packaging of the wiring / under seat area and put a horn / basics under there. Probably micro switches hidden somewhere for them / hidden wiring. id say a good 90% of our riding is done in the cbd or urban populated areas. So may aswell have less to get stung on. 4. Got rolled by the 5-0 last night. Pulled over for a random rego check / check Vest patches to see if I was in a gang / ask why the back of it was covered in rubber. I got sent home for not having a working brake light or indicators and to find another mode of transport till they work. I did say indicators weren’t a requirement, but we mutually decided agreeing with him was a better choice due to missing a other few basic compulsory items (horn - mud guards - all the wiring for the brake lights - a working speedo etc) and as he said, I would much rather ride it home than have to push it home and aquire a sticker. Dude was a GC though. He found tough guy patches and small bike funny. Might be time for Chaly v2.
  5. Man that looks great. Also taught me a thing about the floating stator amd making your own batteries. Good stuff man. I really enjoy how much you dive into these things and go 11/10s. Can’t wait to see where this ends up!
  6. That mods great tbh, did it to my FR50 and made it so much more predictable under braking. especially at higher speeds. No lift
  7. Who’s planning on coming to this!?!? catch y’all tonight, dont forget your gifts (junk)
  8. Sssshhhhhhhhhh noone needs to know about those
  9. First post updated. this months meet is 19 December! from 730pm also seeing as its Christmas, shall we do a secret Santa again? find some Automotive or Oldschool applicable gifts/junk, wrap it up and bring it along. -on the night, come find me, put your present in the pile and I’ll write your name on the list. Then once they’re all in, I’ll draw names out of a hat and you’ll receive a secret Santa gift. Secret Santa will be drawn at 750pm so we can go down and get dinner after. catch you then!!
  10. ^wat? never in my driving years have I accidentally hit a button when driving a car. Manufactuers tend to flush mount the actuating switches and choose locations to avoid accidental actuation Must be fairly safe of pretty much every manufacturer is going to electirically actuated parking brakes and , I’d say they’d be much less likely to be actuated by accident than those footwell mounted stamp on E brakes. if you’ve ever driven anything modern with a electric parking brake, you’ll discover you can still purposely press the button / actuate the parking brake when cars in drive and moving and there are multiple factory manual vechiles that come with electrically operated parking brakes that you can operate with vechile in gear . they are there as an ‘emergency brake’ also, not just a parking brake.
  11. My2c id be putting my effort into the engine side of things first incase you do decide to go down the retrofitting route that’ll change a lot of aspects of your build. been there done it both ways
  12. Can’t make this one unfortunately. Someone turn off @MopedNZ and @GuyWithAviators bikes at the traffic lights for me. thanks
  13. Burgerfuels been reminded, I’m away for work so won’t be attending, please make sure no rubbish is left in the carpark, it’s clean and tidy when you leave and if anyone’s being unruly punch them in the dick or not dick if they don’t have one Will be sending good vibes your way tonight love Shakotom.

  15. If you bring mustang please don’t run over any innocent bystanders.
  16. Just Bought a motor and spanny to put in a small bike for rowdy 2t nangs. hopefully I can get it all sorted pre going to Aussie for work on wed, if so will come up for a play for a couple of hours before gapping to work Xmas do.
  17. East Cape was a blast. had a few small issues which were sorted fairly easily (jet change / couple of bolts disappeared) and apart from that got it filthy and had a great time.
  18. Did a little bit of work, threw a ‘49cc’ 4 stroke engine in it for reliability and a few other bits I had kicking around / purchased. sent the wheels and a whole bunch of other bits to @Mr Vapour to make them shiny (15/10 stoked would trade again) then assembled into this ready for East Cape
  19. So East cape was coming up, and I didn’t really have a bike that was suitable to do that on. pulled this out of my parts bikes pile
  20. Damn. will see how the schedule works out. That’s a busy ass weekend for me.
