  1. interesting, i was told i needed to use str8 Argon in my mig for using silicone bronze wire....... might have a go with argon sheild next time i am doing thin panel work.

  3. shit bugger damn. run it up and down a few times to see if it was just residual fluid.....nope, still pissing out. pulled ram apart, main pressure seals quite skody, rest not too horrid, will replace is cheap enough.
  4. righto, been back on this contract as finances allow. plumbed up single stage ram with home-built trunnion mount, all good, but need to get more fluid. as the pump only allows for gravity return one-way ram, i have fitted a silencer to spare port to keep dust and shit out and to prevent air-lock ............... any issues with doing this on a 2-way ram ??, as it seems to be pissing fluid out of silencer, and wanted advice before i rip the ewe-rooter apart incase it pushing past the seals.

  11. 1600 8 valve 5-speed escudo SWB certified as fladdeck road legal off-roader, farm hack. i reaslise front CV's may wear out quicker, but plenty of people leave manual hubs engaged, and selct via transfer or have solid hubs and use transfer
  12. so, the rubbish auto hubs on the 1990 Suzuki suffer from scizophrenia, and arn't too sure if they want to lock, or if/when they will lock. as i am not financial enough to buy maunal locking hubs, and there was a factory option for a fixed hub, what issues will i encounter if i weld them up ? has open front diff, and selectable transfer box and currently has even less traction than my 2wd hilux

  18. square metre rate at a glazier might be spendy, but buying a full sheet is fucking stupid unless you can use it all. full sheet will do 2 cars. glazier will etch and supply producer statement
  19. similar to the 3tgte powered KE70 i knew of. used modified 4k drivehaft and STD 4k diff. suffice to say, was not up to the extra power and result was similar. had he swapped my 2tg for his oddessy, we would have both won !!

  25. blurb says the Carter is 6psi.........would still need to be trimmed back to increase performance. i run a Facet red (4-7psi) pump with regulater set at 3.5psi. 2x m6 cotton-reels for mounting will quieten it .
