Those /\ are different. They sit between the top hat and the chassis. The rubber spacers siting on the spring are all good for a wof.

Looks good. Can you still pull the brake lever in all the way?

Trailer wof rules: https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general-trailers No minimum ride height for trailers. There are a few slam trailer builds here. https://oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/28335-kks-slamiler/ https://oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/33131-chriss-scrapping-slamiler/& https://oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/36939-neds-slam-trailer/&tab=comments#comment-1028143

Any old mechanic should be able to sort you out. @Yowzer ?
-
Yes you can replace the brushes. Get a whole brush holder not just the individual brushes.
-
Yes, worn brushes. You will only get a few knock starts, so replace soon.
-
Funny how Al got this with truck mirrors that he removed and now you have put some back on.
-
At what point are you going to put this in the too hard basket?
-
You need some sort of proportioning valve or the rears will have to much pressure and lock up.
-
Your alloys have hubcaps. They reduce drag (actually).
-
Have you loosened the control arm bolts to relax the bushes at the new ride height? It can help with the pogoness.
-
I have heard a better flowing muffler helps get the heat out, but it could be an old wives tale.

“B” is not regenerative braking. It is engine braking. Does not charge the hybrid battery as much in “B” because one of the motor generators are stationary to allow the engine to rotate. All braking and decelerating in “D” will charge the battery.

https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general/exhaust/exhaust-system See point 7 for exhaust noise see epecially how the wof inspector can use their judgment as to if is too loud or not.

Not banned. All four must be snow tyres and have more than 4mm tread. Should be banned tho.

Chain

Why heating? Is it not welded to the flex plate? Should be ok as long as you get it in the same position relative to the starter. Check if there are any tapers in the edge if the teeth that help starter engagement, but usually they would be on the starter, not the ring gear.

But how would the wof man know that the 13B and adjusties are not the parts fitted when the car was certed?
